Armored Core VI: Coral Dawn - [ZGMF-X42S Destiny] Ch04 M32 - Ambush the Vespers 

Dr. Saotome: "So, Kira seems to have gone to do some sort of survey assigned to him by the ALLMIND Mercenary Support system. I noticed that he's currently top ranked in the Arena and got another win. At his rank he's probably got access to some real excellent gear from the system that most mercs could only dream of."
Shinn: "Even in a different world, Kira works so hard to get stronger. What a guy."
Dr. Saotome: "Since we've got some free time I've got two requests for you, my boy. But given the timeframe that's part of the requests, you won't be able to do both of them."
Shinn: "Is there any point in doing mercenary requests now, doc?"
Dr. Saotome: "Absolutely! The fact is, even if you were reunited with Kira now, you're still going to need the rep and money to get a transport off Rubicon. And it's definitely going to be expensive what with the corps having total control. Plus the PCA in the other systems won't leave Rubicon alone for long. And that'll make others less likely to send transports our way unless the price is right."
Shinn: "Let's see. Do you want me to do this one? It comes from Arquebus. Says they want Michigan and the Redguns taken out."
Dr. Saotome: "Tempting, but I smell a trap. One that's likely to come our way a little later, but not sure when."
Shinn: "The other is from the Rubicon Liberation Front. From Middle Flatwell. It's been a while since the leader of those guys contacted me."
Dr. Saotome: "There's no doubt the corps would eventually move to get rid of you, me, Kira and Walter any day now. But if they're too busy fighting each other... Although I'm a little surprised the Liberation Front have also followed the corps this far down. If they can stall the corps like a nasty mosquito bite makes someone stop to scratch...."
Shinn: "So I guess I'll avoid any missions from the corps for a while. Let's see what Flatwell's request is."
Middle Flatwell: "J. I'll get straight to the point. Arquebus leads the corporate forces, emboldened by assimilated PCA technology. But they're still human. Tired from the endless conflict between powers... Open to an attack on their key forces."

Dr. Saotome: "Taking out two officers from the Vespers is an opportunity I didn't dare wish for! This will be perfect! Definitely the itch that Arquebus won't be able to ignore and others will take advantage of."
Shinn: "Arrived at Depth 2. This is the rendez-vous point."
Middle Flatwell: "J. Up here. Come join me. The pipes and steam will prevent us from being detected too quickly."
Dr. Saotome: "So that's AC TSUBASA. Light-weight frame, bullet weaponry and a mini-bazooka. Middle Flatwell must be quite skilled to rank that high in the arena with this build."
Middle Flatwell: "...They're coming, J. Whenever the moment is right."
Dr. Saotome: "Accessing Arena info. V. VIII Pater. AC DUAL NATURE. Light-weight reverse-joint. Favors pulse weaponry. Careful you don't get careless, J. Mid-range and melee is what it's tuned for. And pulse weaponry is quite good at disrupting non-physical defenses."
V.VIII Pater: "What could this emergency call from V.II be about, sir?"
V.V Hawkins: "That's just Snail being Snail, my boy. He loves to send his "minions" running."
V.VIII Pater: "Sir, there'll be trouble if he hears that kind of talk."
Dr. Saotome: "V.V Hawkins. AC RECONFIG. A tetrapod armed with plasma and laser weaponry. A dangerous combination for all ranges. The laser blade on his left arm has a ridiculous range. Don't think you're out of his reach even if there's some distance between you."
Middle Flatwell: "Those are our two numbered, Vespers... Ready when you are, J."

V.VIII Pater: "J... is this how we meet in person? I never did get to talk to you ever since Char took your case over."
V.V Hawkins: "I see the other's "Uncle" Flatwell... The Liberation Front's big cheese... Look alive, Pater... !?"
V.VIII: "My AC can't take anymore! Sir... I can't...!"
V.V Hawkins: "Pater! I'm sorry, son. I'll finish this.
Dr. Saotome: "Two against one. I almost feel sorry for him. Show no mercy, J!"
V.V Hawkins: "I guess I should have paid more attention to Pater's words as he talked so excitedly about you, J. And highly regarded by Char Aznable. I suppose this is an example of why his words are considered more seriously than even Snail's by HQ. Tell me, just between us. Are you friends with Raven? Your AC...a Gundam right?...It looks very similar to his. Rusty spoke highly of him."
Shinn: "Rusty... Kira's... friend?"
Dr. Saotome: "J. You're getting sloppy. Focus!"
V.V Hawkins: "Heh... Want to join... the Vespers... ?"
Dr. Saotome: "V.V Hawkin's down. Both AC's have been eliminated. Oh.....it looks like Pater managed to eject. But he's nothing compared to the other Vespers. Great job taking out Hawkins."
Middle Flatwell: "...It was a privilege, J. We're war buddies now. Maybe I'll find a comrade in you yet."
