Man, it still gets me every now and then, just how much music we lost when Dave passed away. The guitar work on Raising Fear is epic and ferocious, what would he have done with more time? No words do it justice. R.I.P. Mr. Pritchard.
Another great show I was lucky enough to attend. Before their set Dave sat down at the bar and tossed back a few , just a regular guy that was one of the greatest guitarist ever. RIP Dave Prichard .
I was lucky enough to see Armored Saint in 87 with Helloween and Grim Reaper it was an incredible show, I was there to see the Saint as I had been a fan for many years already since the release of March of the Saint. I just recently discovered though the Symbol Of Salvation reissued in 2003 with 3 disc Deluxe version that it has interviews from the band on disc 2 of what happened to Dave in somewhat detail and what effect it had on the guys in the band. If your a fan of this band I highly recommend it. A couple of interesting things in the interview was for one Dave was an orphan and never new his real parents which made it hard to get any Marrow donors. And he also had sat down and played Eruption on the piano which kind of blew the other guys away, they didn't know he even knew how to play the piano, so apparently Dave had many talents and being an absolute maestro on the guitar was just one. I can only imagine the music Armored would have made had this terrible event not happened. Dave is sorely missed.
It still kills me on how These Cats aren't in Every Metal Heads Collection.... Everyone in Armored Saint bring An Extreme Level of Talent, Skill, Style, Taste, and the Ability to Pour Out Their Soul into Every Note and Nuance... Listen ti that Guitar... Bought this on dvd in 2006. Dave's leads on this particular track made my own playing bump up so many levels. Especially these days when I finally sound better to my own ears, I can distinguish my influences. It's Pritchard, Schenker, Dave Murray and Iommi.
I got this concert on DVD....So Awesome....It might be Saints greatest live concert....Dave and Alan killed on guitar....They played alot of Symbol of Salvation material.....Still can't believe Dave died less than two months after this show...He was Phenomenal!
He woulda been talked about as a true guitar hero if he never got the cancer and passed away. I could imagine future Saint albums with grear riffs and solos by him. cancer sucks forever!! 😥🙏💔🎸 RIP Dave Prichard.
I wish someone would put this whole concert on youtube,it's Daves last live show,and the only time the Saint performed Tongue and Cheek live! When the Saint release their new CD in 2015,they should include this entire concert as a bonus DVD as a tribute to the late GREAT Dave Prichard! SAINT RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dave Pritchard should have played in Metallica, sorry Hammett fans, Dave was better than him to play solos and he was friends with James, what happened? why didn't he play with Metallica at that time?
Kirk is great guitar player........what do you talking about,....dave was great, ...but kirk is a real talent, his solos in Metallica are legendary and awesome.
