Haha! Other way around for me. Been listening to AS since they first came out when I was in my teens. What's funny is, I loved Sound Of White Noise, specifically Only, w/o evening knowing who was singing. It wasn't until the late 2000's, when I was sitting around listening to it one night and thought, "I KNOW THAT VOICE!" went through my CD's (thankfully in alphabetical order) and thought about the singers voices of each band. It was then I thought "NO WAY! It's the singer from Armored Saint!" That was a cool moment!
Received my advanced copy of the album on Tuesday, and OMG!!! KILLER album start to finish. Cool riffs, tight rhythms, great production and (of course) the AMAZING vocals from John Bush -- Top Notch!!! Thank You Armored Saint for keeping metal/hard rock alive!!! Support the band and BUY THIS ALBUM!!! Spreading the word...it's the March of the SAINT (again).

@@poolman8676 me too, they weren't Pioneer's but I blew my speakers in my '79 Firebird, I think Armored Saint Can U Deliver was on a K-Tel Masters of Metal cassette tape.
ARMORED SAINT dude!!!; the band that never disappoints... John Bush is one of the best singers of all times. In this damn year the only good thing is that excellent albums have been released, but this is my candidate for the best album of the year🤘💀🖤🔥
Was watching concert footage from 2018, think it was in France, and was thinking the same thing! The guys voice hasn't changed! Along with Saxon, these guys are one of my favorite bands!
@@rickdiaz1354 Pretty cool story! Don't know if you've heard of Razor? Not one of my favorite bands, but I went to high school with a couple of them. They weren't huge, but they have a following and opened for some big name bands.
My first show was Quiet Riot Metal Health tour in "83". The opening act was Armored Saint and no one really knew much about them but they came out with full armor on and played hard. I've supported them ever since.
I just made the exact comment. Whitesnake was on the bill that night too. Saw them in Toledo Ohio at the old Sports Arena. So many great memories of that place.
25 years ago while the band was still on hiatus I became a fan and after a while I realized that they've become one of my personal favorites. Not only for the music but the whole attitude, consistency and sincerity. John Bush has always been one of the best Heavy Metal singers of all time (one of my 3 favorite vocalists), and the music feels like it's been written and performed by 30 year olds, still fresh, intense and creative, writing music in nearly 4 different decades. Long Live the SAINT, thank you for everything \m/
Late 84 at the Tower Theater near Philly, PA. I was 17. I see John Bush standing stage right before the show. I walk over and he was the coolest dude ever. He said, "Get rowdy." They were great that night and likewise this new album is incredible. The commentary on modern society is a cautionary tale. Buy this album and support true heavy metal.
Awesome album! Several instant classics. Kick ass rock and the amazing vocals of John Bush. What more could you ask for? Thank you Armored Saint for your incredible work!
Pinching myself because it’s 2020 and this is a NEW album. This sounds fresh and not old fashioned. Musical talent, great songs, and John Bush’s youthful voice will always stand out! 🤘🏼 I’m definitely going to purchase this one!
Got my autographed Cd in the mail yesterday and it does not dissapoint !!!! Easily one of their best albums and certainly the best metal album of this year !!!
I think I saw this band play live only one time. It was a show in 1987 along with Jag Panzer, Helloween, and Grim Reaper. Amazing that these bands all exist 33 years later. Metal Blade Records used to have the saying "Heavy Metal will never die" on their Metal Massacre compilation LPs. I guess they were correct.
Holy crap! That had to be a killer show. What a line up.😲🤘 I saw them live in 2000-2001 ish. It was right after Revelations came out. Small club in Columbus, OH.
The 6 thumbs down had FAT thumbs and it hit the thumb down before the thumb up and they were too stupid to go back and fix it. Cuz no one who is a fan of hard rock or metal would find anything worthy of less than 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Remarkable, truly remarkable. 37years on and they're still untouchable. These guys, on the strength of this album alone, should be playing Arenas and Stadiums. That really chaps my arse. I'll bet it chaps theirs' even more. 🤗❤️👍✌️🖖🤘👋 Stay safe, stay well everyone. 🤗❤️👍✌️🖖🤘👋😷😷😷😷
Hell ya! That’s what I’m talking about. Since that first intro a couple weeks ago I’ve been jonesing for this!!! REMINDER ON!!!! Share, share, share, share, 🤔 share and share again! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I'd add Psychotic Waltz and Sorcerer in the best list of '20, so far. Hittman's and Siren's new albums very close. Cirith Ungol also as already mentioned above.
I discovered Anthrax about same time I discovered ARMORED SAINT . I have to say John Bush has to be one of the very best singers to come out of his era with that kind of power . Whom really hasn't lost anything off his vocals . The entire band is incredible . Instrumentally Joey Vera impresses me the most .
I've been waiting for this LP very impatiently and.. it's just a great piece of traditional heavy metal, sounding relevant and fresh. I love the production, the musicianship, John sounds just superb and the composition level is very high...Made my day!
Once again Armored Saint Delivers!! I always await a new Saint Lp with great anticipation and I'm always floored with what they bring to the table. Props to my heros from El Serino...🤘
La Raza was good. Win Hands Down was fantastic. This? Fucking SPECTACULAR. I've probably listened to this front to back a dozen times since release and it only gets better each listen. So much Symbol of Salvation sound here, but with that modern sound Saint has crafted and arguably perfected in the past decade or so. Every song is ridiculously good, I'd say the only "low points" are My Jurisdiction and Bark, No Bite, but those two are still respectable additions to their catalog. What a stellar album.. I could legitimately see an argument for it being the best album they've ever written. Yes, even against the classics. Easy top 3 or 4 at the least. Keep it up guys.. much love from the Northwest.
These guys were the second concert i ever saw. It was them, whitesnake and quiet riot in 1983. I hadn't heard of them at the time but have listening ever since.
Who can say they made a solid evolved album after 37 years!?! I didn't think so!! Well these guys did!! WOW!! Metal at its FUCKIN FINEST!! Original Metal RULES!!
@@russells6234 Can't really name one particular song of their's as my favorite as there are too many I love. Chemical Euphoria, Mad House and Last Train Home are right up there!
The live stream was killer and they played 4 songs off this album! I’m also stoked to see the Armored Saint movie coming out soon and I’ve heard from a very reliable source that Armored Saint is going to release a Concert DVD in the near future!!!
@abc 123 That would be VERY COOL! Was watching the RU-vid video of a HELLOWEEN concert from Wacken where they had two of their singers perform and it was AWESOME! Never followed them, but it had a really good vibe to it with neither trying to dominate. Would be cool if more bands would set aside differences and do it. Would have been awesome to see Black Sabbath with DIO AND Ozzy!
What an amazing album, the Saints never disappoint!!!

This is great! "Bubble" is that kind of song that you sing all day long, without even notice. The album is ful of heavy riffs, and an incredible sound!!!
Got a new phone with a screen protector and case, and thought it would be cool to name the device Armored Saint. Then I realized I haven't heard any of their stuff. Looks like I've got some catching up to do.... A band that slays this hard after 35 years has to be good!
I posted a similar commentary in "Isolation" video but my baby just loves armored saint, he stops crying and starts rocking whenever he listens to them, I mean, I do like this band but my son is 11 months now and since he was just 4 months there's no lullabies or baby music that seems to calm him, just metal but mostly John Bush's singing. I should post a video, it's so awesome to see and I feel so proud of my son.
When they first arrived on the scene people didn't take them seriously because of their outfits....I knew they were the real deal the moment I heard them way back on their EP and I seen them in a triple bill with Metallica and WASP.....Been following them 36 years...real Metal heads know who they are and know how great they are......
@@WhiteManXRP Well so far, 1. Havok - V - a blistering and intense yet catchy thrash metal record with tons of badassery 2. Testament - Titans of Creation - an amazing thrash album with tons of great performances with the best lineup Testament has ever had 3. Sepultura - Quadra - a very aggressive album with some cool thrashy tracks and some cool groove oriented songs with a great production 4. Armored Saint - Punching the Sky - I assume you have heard and know how great it is 5. Deep Purple - Whoosh - a really laidback and nice bluesy rock record with some awesome classic Deep Purple charm What are some of your favs from 2020?
Great album by a killer band that has been rocking since the 80's. I've been a fan since HS in the 80's. John Bush has such a great voice for metal, what a powerhouse. I know James Hetfield has mentioned he wished he could sing like John Bush.
