Both looked like they did a great job. I've been using the Meguiars Non Acid Wheel Cleaner, which works well. Recently, I've tried Adam's Wheel and Tire Cleaner and have been impressed!

Good video, but I think you undersold MWC by not agitating the products. I don't know about ADS, but MWC foams a lot when agitated allowing even more dwell and working time.

Great review! Both wheel cleaners seem to do a great job. Are you planning to do a similar review with KCx’s new wheel cleaner, Awh?

Thank you! I might pick up some AWH just to see how it performs in comparison to an acid wheel cleaner such as Meg’s Wheel Brightner. I love wheel brightner but it destroys triggers.

Maybe it has something to do with the magwheels of the two vehicles. It previous vehicle is simply easier to clean.

Wheel Cleaner had similar results at a better price point. I’ve heard the smell is not as harsh as MWC, too. If so, then ADS squeaks by KCx.

Yes I agree. In our market, ADS wheel cleaner comes in at a better price with similar if not better results. The price of the MWC might become more competitive now that KC has a US distribution center. I can confirm that the smell isn’t as strong either. Thank you for watching!

@@TheCarDetailingChannel I use MWC, but the price is crazy 135 for 5 L vs 82 delivered for 3.8L, $27L vs $21.5L. MWC was the only thing I found that could remove BMW brake dust, even from ceramic coated rim, the dust is evil. MWC sprayer sucks, liquid is way too viscous, 1:3 in IK mini sprayer works great. How thick is the Armour Detail? I'm definitely considering it, thanks

P&S Brake Buster diluted 4:1 with an IK Foam Sprayer works the best for me.

Here are my thoughts, since KC is made in a foreign country, and AD cost $70 (US) a gallon, I would NOT buy either. But thanks for your testing.

That’s a rubber tile that I get from Home Depot in Canada but I’m not sure if it’s available in the States. It’s a surprisingly simple solution to what was one of my biggest pain points when cleaning wheels. Both of these will work fine on aftermarket wheels as long as the wheels aren’t uncoated polished aluminum (which may become stained using these two).

You'll want something like KCx All wheel cleaner or Ethos Total Wheel & Tire cleaner. MWC is acidic, the former are alkaline. For uncoated better to wet the wheels first and use something closer to neutral
