I paid £300 for my 20 guage version, 500 shells through it so far and it still has never malfunctioned, not once, no fail to eject, no jams nothing! It's fantastic for the money.

Throw it away?! I can just about afford a gun like this. I'll only ever shoot clay's and I've always taken it apart, stripped it down, cleaned it up as if it was like new n made sure I take care of it as if it's the most expensive gun on the planet. Same goes with anything in life e.g. tools. If you love, look after it and don't abuse it. Then it will last a long time. Like most things in life.

Had my A620 for years, though only lightly used it. The value proposition on these is excellent, as the presenter says they're well put together and just work even though there are surely lots of more refined examples out there. Ideal for pigeons in 4+1.

Had a feel of the .410 version today and my oh my for a cheap bargain basement semi auto it is COMFORTABLE! Second gun here I come. 👍

Thank you for the review. I was looking for a new geese-gun, and saw the Armsan sitting next to an ATA in the local store. The price difference was 100 euros, so I had to check out whether Armsan was any good.

Brilliant guns, have had very little issues with the a612’s. Even those with hard use

Hi TGS Outdoors.There is a heavy duty piston available for the A612. It's listed in the Armsan catalogue. They don't come with the gun when you buy it. Do you recommend running the heavy duty piston when shooting heavy 3" waterfowl loads?

Whats the purpose of review if only thing we see is a couple of loading/unloadings and vague descriptions. There is nothing substantial, no hands on experience, pattern testings etc. From seller's perspective u could have made the video simpler by just narrating prices and feature under 1 min...

What other makes of chokes fit in these. I somehow managed to miss place mine. The standard armsan chokes are a bit cheap and flimsy feeling too,so idealy I'd like to replace them with something better quality.

Anyone know if there’s anyway to convert an armsan a612 that hold 2 cartridges underneath to hold 4 cartridges, the gun I have does not have a plug and only takes 2 underneath one in the barrel

Interested - however, two questions, can the magazine be extended (is it crimped at the end) and which type of magazine nut would fit (given the fact that nobody makes extensions for Armsan)?

@@tgsoutdoors nope, they make it for Benelli, Breda, Beretta, Mossberg, Remington and Stoeger. The one for the Stoeger *might* fit given that their guns are made in Turkey. However I live in Italy and ordering one would require a permit... some rigmarole as it can take up to 120 days to get one. Then you order one and discover it won't fit... hardly an option. That's why I'm asking if any of the magazine extensions designed for the "big brand" guns will fit, given that many of the Turkish guns are essentially copies thereof (especially of Benelli and Franchi stuff ) and the fact that they seem to use the same kind of thread (Universal Fine - UNF - AFAIK). With this information I can try and source locally (Toni System). My specific interest is the Armsan P-Challenge shotgun which I believe is not imported into the UK; the ones imported here come with 5-round tubes, before I decide if it's worth investing in one I want to know if they are "extensible". Strange that the importer chose to order the 5 round versin, given that the gun is designed for IPSC and is available with an 11-round tube from factory.

Have you got any information regarding extending the mag tube capacity. I have just purchased the Red A612 and it's my next intention to do so but the internet is a bit vague on the topic for this gun.I have the allowance to do so on my FAC. I understand some mag tubes from other makes may fit but I'm not sure which

Armsan do an extended mag tube. Takes 11 70mm cartridges.

I would say armsan has Benneli & other shotgun makers sweating bullets. I bought the 28 Gauge TriStar last month. Very well made shotgun. Has more kick to it than people say.
