The octopus hat is called "Hat of Undeniable Wealth And Respect" and it costs around 400 to 600 dollars as it is from an event that took place in 2010 and new ones cannot be acquired anymore.

"Tax in post" would refer to his vehicle registration sticker being not yet received via the post, except that we don't actually call them "Tax Disks" here; that's a British name. Down here we just call them Registration Stickers or just "The Reggo" for short. The cars are just the same because there's a limited number of virtual models by default in Source Filmmaker. Some of our wheat growing areas are not the most fertile, so it's actually not surprising to see a combine harvester in a place like that. That said though, the map early in the video showed the location as somewhere in the vicinity of Alice Springs. I've tried Googling just now to see if there are any wheat farms there but couldn't find out for certain. (PS - We don't have alligators here; they're crocodiles).

Tutch of lore here, but that gun is not golden, its made out of Australium. a extremely rare metal found only in the australian outback in extremely limited supply. This is the source of fuel for the life extending machines attacked to the RED and BLU brothers, and eventualy Helen (the administrator) and Gray mann. Also, the last bit of australium was used to paint a one manned rocket ship that would launch into space.

I remember one being sold by a quickseller a while back; I think it was going for a little over $300 USD. Context for those who don't know: In TF2 trade lingo, a "quickseller" is someone who (for one reason or another) desperately wants to sell off as many of their items as they can, as _fast_ as they can. So, they typically sell them at a large discount. It's actually a pretty good way to get rare items on the cheap.

Wearing hats in Australia is extremely important, along with sunscreen. Australia is, more or less, right below that massive hole in the Ozone layer, as a result, much more UV radiation gets through. Meaning sunburns can not only happen quickly (in the span of 10-20 minutes on some of the hotter days), but it is also *far* more likely to result in skin cancer. The chance is still small, but it’s definitely not a risk you want to play with.

They are on the edge of the hole here in nz we are directly beneath it which is why you can end up sunburnt in around ten minutes even it it doesn't look like its super sunny or doesn't feel hot out

The octopus hat is a very old and expensive hat. It was from an old steam event and if you got far enough you would get the version with the octopus. Im almost certain that it is at least 100 keys, so like 200 bucks. Not worth it imo

Mann Mining Co Ale House is a bar for Red Sniper clones. Basically an American-owned bar in the TF2 world. Roo Brew is comparable to Fosters... And BLU Demoman and Scout do not like it. BLU Demoman's Whiskey is triple distilled.

fun fact about sniper, hes not actually australian, hes new zealish and new Zealand is a kripton type deal where it was flooded and sunk but his parents shipped him in a rocket to Australia, which is why instead of wanting to get into brawl matches like all the other children there, he wanted to climb in trees and throw rocks at the other kids

Afaik "dead dove" is a term meaning that "You get what you were warned for. Dont act surprised if you venture forth you get to be exposed to excactly as what was warned for." Its taken from a scene from the series "Arrested Development". There is a package saying "Dead Dove - do not eat" Char opens the box and its excactly like warned. Then says "i dont know what i expected" Atm online its often used to warn for sensitive material and that the warning should not be taken lightly for fanworks.

Pointing out that it was a crocodile at 14:51. Gators are strictly limited to the Americas. Australia is home to the Saltwater Crocodile, which is probably the closest thing to a dinosaur currently alive. Some have grown to be nearly 25 feet long, and they’re notorious man-eaters. They can also jump out of the water to catch prey dangling from tree branches. They’re simultaneously awesome and terrifying.

That swamp hat would be the swagman's swatter and is always a sign that the sniper in question is to be feared as he's that one sniper in a match where you'll never be able to peak any corners because chances are he's there with a sniper dot just out of sight and as soon as you show your face you suddenly die and wind up with a freeze frame of whatever taunt he uses Those kind of snipers are terrifying

"DEAD DOVE: Do Not Eat!" is actually a reference to Arrested Development. It's commonly used in fanfiction circles, mostly AO3, as a big tent trigger warning for morally reprehensible themes, such as torture, mass murder, and things of the like. You'll mostly see it in fetish works made by sickos, but every once in a while a "Dead Dove" can tackle some pretty heavy subjects in a respectable* way. *Or at least solemn.
