Always watch these videos but none of the kit shown ever gets filtered down to me. Still do and use everything I always have done since I joined in 2012 literally nothing has changed since then. Oh, except the manpower. That has drastically decreased, the vehicles are much older and less reliable and the workload has gone up. Still not stopped people leaving the services. Until you fix accommodation, food, infrastructure, ailing numbers and increased workload on the remaining your not going to keep anyone

This from a member of the UK's armed forces that now couldn't fight another Falklands War, whilst maintaining an immense garrison in mainland Europe, ad well as a major internal security operation in N Ireland. All this but cant find a contract to replace the Land rover contract which ended 3 years ago (bc they no longer make the parts). "An army of the future".... Driving in land rovers from the 60's with no replacement in sight.
The worst thing more cut on troops and not think about what the military actually need , there said there learn from ukriane what is that clearly nothing , if straight ukriane can learn military tactics and gun handling and drive a our vehicles with no grades and test scores but uk military only care on grades and how well you on the test so mess up , why can’t it be like old days sign up and you in the military no mess around , , we need more tanks and artillery and more personal also a lot more
If senior brass have to wear headsets to know what the army operates then we are stuffed. Yes we need technology but it’s the ordinary foot soldiers we need as the war in Ukraine has shown. Boots on the ground clearing trenches and houses which drones cannot do
