This is a video of me taking the AMPA for bass. If you're interested in what the audition would be for the Army Band field this is it. The first piece is a patriotic selection followed by 5 prepared pieces. After that is quickly prepared meaning you get 24 hours to look at it instead of just sight reading. At the end I played 3 pieces on the upright bass for additional points to add to my score. I received a score of 22 partly because of the bad recording quality. I also got a 16 for upright giving me 1 additional point for a total score of 23. Hope this might help someone interested in the Army band. Please let me know if you have any questions.
