I was an Air Force Training Instructor. I had the distinct pleasure of attending Fort Leonard Wood as a guest "Drill Sergeant" in 2010. The Drill Sergeants of most platoons were by in far much more friendly to their soldiers than all the Training Instructors I've been acquainted with over the years. The knife hand seems to be universal along with front leaning rest position!

The United States Army, with the exception of the Golden Knights Parachute Demonstration Team, does not own fixed- wing airplanes, whether propeller and/ or turbine jet engine. No such thing as " Army Jets"!!🇺🇸🦅🗽🗡️⚔️🔫💥🔥💀
US Army Never Ever Has or Have had Aircraft of any kind! It's a Land based branch, the only branch with jets is the USAF, USN and I'm not sure but I believe USMC as well.
