The struggle is still real it’s not as bad now but it was hard for a while. Now we have a new struggle of people asking if we got into kpop cause of BTS or LOONA…..and I’m always like no BoA, Rain, and Big Bang we’re my catalysts…..

YG was a growing company before BB's debut but unlike DSP and SM, their revenue was quite low for a big three company. BIGBANG changed all that in just a span of 2-3 years. Imagine, they were able to acquire land and build the first YG building because of BIGBANG. What surprises me most is - when I read that BIGBANG gives 70% of their revenue to YG yet they still are the riches idols for so many years.

@@Btseventeenzerose7139 yup, I remember knowing their background and past struggles and looking at HYBE now makes me so proud of what they have achieved. They singlehandedly pulled up a small company that was near bankruptcy to become one of the most recognized names in the entertainment industry. Their legacies are forever remembered in history. BTS is the group that really changed me, their music is something that have guided my adolescent years and taught me a lot of things. Sadly some are just to prejudiced to acknowledge what they have done but as long as there millions of people who can see their hard work and talent, it makes me happy.

Literally where is 2015 Mexico concert? Or the London 2012 one? Both iconic with the haru haru fanchant

The ALIVE tour literally sold out in 2 minutes I couldn't get a ticket, then because of how fast it sold out they added another day and i was fortunate enough to get a ticket, I woke up at 6am to get tickets right when they were available. The LA concerts all sold out very quickly both ALIVE and MADE.

@@azimembong2606 Every artists have a budget needed. If you're an artist that is earning less, that means you'll have a lesser budget than others. BIGBANG, being the biggest earner under YG since 2007, these guys understands they will need to take care of themselves. They put their own money, time and effort in order to pull all their activities. Whether solo or group, they take care of everything. That way younger YG artists that needs the company budget and staff will be have enough for debut or a comeback.

@@waiyeemon 2017 was a hard year . GD was under a lot of stress , he was so skinny 😔 He needed us . I felt like by the second half of the concert he relaxed, he felt the energy of the public and he stopped do the rutine , the things he prepared and start just enjoy the moment with us. By the end of the concert we felt like a family . He got that pozitive energy and love from the fans , people embracing him . People hanging from balconies to reach and touch his head . I left that concert feeling like superman 😅 , like someone gave me that super serum of Captain America . I am sure he also felt that transfer of energy and left happy that night

kpop has evolved way past what the 1st and 2nd generation did. this current generation is mostly influenced and majorly benefits from what bts has achieved worldwide.

They did a lot and gave a lot to kpop but they ain't what made kpop like today... we have to admit before bts a lot og things i never thougt that a korean artist can do and achieve.... i am a super 1/2 gen fan but this is the truth they started it but never made it this big... and till this day no one could even get close...

No hate to bts or even lets add BP here in a sense that they are really undenyingly super big right now that when people ask about kpop majority might say about both BTS and BP but as for me who is into kpop going this year to be 14yrs . Old fan i would say that 2nd gen especially Bigbang&2ne1 and Superjunior&Snsd or even GD alone have done so much impact that even 4th gen must be thankful for. Just imagine kpop idols before was level as the lowest form with comedians in entertainment industry because people pictured them out as just manufactured thing.. Not until bigbang started something new.. not until YG letting GD write and produce his and his groups songs and make the public aware of it that he is the doing it coz in 1st gen some do write but not credited wisely to be known to the public the reason why theyre not appreciated as an artist. The lightstick and fandom's name that some immature fans are making fun of vips whenever we include this one as an impact in kpop.. i mean aside from the language that kpop are using whatelse that making kpop to be easily known? With lightsticks and fandoms right? that even in this present being a group you must have lightstick and fandom names. The airport fashion that opens so many opportunities to all kpop idols and to spread more kpop through fashion.. 2nd gen having collaboration with the west helps to open opportunity too. They might not as big as bts and BP collaboration with west artist today but it helps paving the way. While today, all you need to do is to have that big fandoms the solid one to be known in the west,to achieve this and that, to be in the billboard etc.. and ofcourse with the help of social media and easy access to it..
