Been considering this light for a while now, but there are a few 14500 lights that have better emitters and pocket-ability. It's hard to resist the Armytek construction though. Their UI is probably the best one I've experienced aside from Anduril 2 IMO. Appreciate the content!

Any lights you recommend over this in particular?

Not to overcomplicate the answer, but it really does depend on what you want in a light. There are so many factors to consider. Some apsects might be: Emitter quality (tint & CRI), optic beam pattern (flood & throw), form factor, battery compatibility, durability, runtimes, maximum output, minimum output, UI, tail or side switch, among others.... If there was light that was a mix of the Warrior Mini 3 and the Prime C2 Pro with a Nichia 519a, it would be the light to end my flashlight addiction I think. If you are looking for pocketability and simplicty, a Reylight Pineapple Mini or a Lumintop Tool AA are great options. If you are looking for more customizability, I think the Wurkkos TS10 and the Sofirn SP10pro are almost impossible to beat for the value. This all depends on if you're more of a 14500 or 18650 kinda guy. @@jonathanklein7875

Been eyeballing this, that beam is out of this world, the peripheral light as you are saying looks pretty flippin' sweet. Might have to score one of these! Cheers and thanks for another excellent video FLC.

The UI is kind of like ZebraLight: there’s instant access to 3 sets of levels and it always remembers the last used level in each set. But ZebraLight has just 2 levels in each set, and uses double-click to toggle between them, while you press and hold on ArmyTek to rotate through 3 levels. But ZebraLight lets you fully customize all 6 lumen levels, so you can rearrange them to map different actions to high, medium, and low. Is there a way to disable memory on ArmyTek, so it always starts in the lowest level of the set? I think the reason they require you to unscrew the tail cap before charging is to ensure that there’s no connection between the battery and the exposed metal on the tail except when you’re charging. I assume this is safer, but that’s just a guess. Olight charges without that extra step, which is convenient. Thanks for the review. I guess I’m a tint snob because when I saw that green beam I knew instantly it wasn’t for me 😄

Very green tint what a shame. A common criticism for this light
