A great hint for socks. However, even better on the first day of Spring my Making Christmas Balls book arrived. It has been snowing for two days and i have been happily making Christmas Balls with your book 55 Christmas Balls to Knit. Your balls have helped pass the time on a snowy day.

Fantastic!! I never knew this! And I’ve been knitting and crocheting for almost 30 years! This will work for anything too I bet, not just socks. You two are awesome! Carlos is engaging, you make people want to hear what your going to say next, and Arne is just...well...sweet. He’s just simply a sweetheart, mild and easy and kind and his soft voice is easy to listen to, and you are both just happy and it rubs off on me. I always feel in a better mood after watching a video. Thank you for sharing little pieces of your lives, I enjoy it so much. I’m so glad I found your channel! I wish I could give you both a great big hug!!

It’s great to know that I am not the only one that gets holes in my socks. However I did wonder at the time if there was a way to fix it at that point. Thanks so much!!

When I come to the area which makes a hole sometimes, say I have 36 st for instep 18/18, I will pick up an extra stitch from a purl behind that seems tightish. That makes for an extra stitch at each side making 19/19 or 38. Next round knit the end stitch with the picked up stitch and things seem to be firm. :) good luck! Thank you Arne and Carlos!
