steve perry and his band journey went their 'separate ways', journey needed 'lights' like a lead singer to keep the band going and with journey's motto 'don't stop believin' they found arnel in the 'city of hope' and welcomed him into the band with 'open arms' so arnel 'faithfully' stood with the band. now 'after all these years' arnel still sounds great 'any way you want it'

OMG I was there during this first concert of Journey with Arnel. I was ready eyed during this concert. They video tape this live while are all screaming( us audience) you brought me back at this moment while wat hung your video.. I was so close to stage with friends.

You do know Rockstar was a true story right? It was about Tim ripper Owens, the guy that replaced Rob halford when he left Judas Priest. Which is what steel Dragon was in the movie. They had to Chang the names, because Judas priest backed out of the movie because they wanted final say on the music and producers said no. It was originally called " metal gods".

Mary Ann Sodela no that is not true at all stop making things up, it’s all documented. Arnel replaced Steve Augeri/Jeff Scott Soto after Augeri blew out his voice, JSS finished the tour but didn’t sound like Steve Perry, so band looked for replacement singer and Schon found Arnel on RU-vid. You’re so dumb.

btw Deen Castronovo ( on drums) can also sing and sounds like Steve Perry. I think he was first offered to be the vocalist but prefers being on drums. He have some videos singing some journey songs in you tube

This song is one of a kind. Awesome music and very meaningful lyrics! I love it so much that this beautiful song was sang live during our renewal of vows in our Church which was done a few months before our 30th Wedding Anniversary. The lyrics was so intense, it moved me to tears. Thank you for your reaction vid on this great Journey song by AP.
