Journey wouldnt have reached their RR Hall of Fame status if Arnel havent cone in. They were done and Neil schon almost gave up finding for a new vocalist . They wouldnt have celebrated 50 years without arnel. Arnel packs them shows adter show all sold out its been going on for 16 years . All other vocalists would have lost it , their voice , their significance , their commercialViability . Arnel stepped in ab did his job very well without all the troubles . @@stellaluna1652 I have to disagree with some of your statement. I am not convinced that Journey wouldn’t have been inducted into the Hall of Fame without Pineda. As I mentioned before he has doubtless kept them going with some albums and tours, but their primary success came from the Perry days, the albums post Perry have not been as successful.
Yes!! It is the release of their REVELATION album. This song is just underrated, but honestly this song is so solid and heavy and arnel delivered it marvelously!! He is a beast! 🔥🤟🍻
It doesn't matter whose the best vocalist of Journey. What's important now is that we are still enjoying Journey since 2008. Finding Arnel Pineda by Neal is really for us fans. ❤

America should be grateful to Arnel Pineda for giving another life to journey and its music .. Arnel gave justice to all Steve Perry songs even much better .. America has nothing to offer when it comes to singers .. you are killing your own music ..
I agree that Arnel is a great singer, however journey and America would still be fine had things gone differently. You can have your own opinion that’s fine, but I still believe that Steve Perry is the best singer journey ever had. I do agree about many of the current music artists, but there are many great artists and great songs that come from America so I can’t agree with you fully!
Steve Perry was great . And Arnel is great in the new generatiion. Sixteen years of solid non stop touring longer than Steve did and still maintaining his voice . Steve didnt dekiver like that abd couldnt sing like that after 10 years. Give credit to whom is due . Arnel is one of a kind . A master beast and dont know sing , he performs , entertains and never backs out . Never a show cancelled . Even if he is sick he do not want to fail the fans. The show must go on. He didnt have the ego that steve had
Don't know what the sad shame is that's going on now. They just played before 18,000)+ in Quebec this past Wednesday, and Arnel sounded great. Thank goodness Neal fired that clown that was only booking them into amphitheatres, and he now has them playing (and selling out) arenas.

AP's mother died at 13 and his father was sickly and couldn't cope with 4 boys. Being the eldest, he fended for himself in the streets. At 16, he joined a band, won band contests, and had a lot of gigs. At 19, he got invited to perform in popular TV shows, feauturing him with known singers. His band regularly sang in Hard Rock Cafe, then was lured to Hongkong, where he spent years performing. Back in Manila, he had to restart his career. He had a lot of singing gigs, but his personal was falling apart. He was planning to go back to Hongkong when Schon discovered him.

Best song of AP eith Journey its his song penned by Jon Cain perfect fir him and his voice . An under rated ballad shoukd gave been the mega ballad like Open arms . This was on the top in 2008 when they released the Revelation album abd inteoduced the new lead vox .
Perry is my guy. I wasn’t too thrilled that they had Arnell copy him. But I thought about it. If it means a new generation can enjoy these great songs the way they were written then that’s a wonderful thing.

It's depressing to see some "original" Journey fans, constantly barraging Pineda with personal insults, just to preserve Perry's legacy. It's music, we don't need these unnecessary negativities. Pineda sings to survive, he never thought of "replacing" Perry. In fact, when those 2 guys met, they both had nothing to say but appreciation and praises for each other; so us fans, why can't we just appreciate both?
