Arnel Pineda Journey - Faithfully live - reaction *amazing 

After about 14 years some people can't move on, still calling Arnel a "good" cover singer. Aren't you just glad that your favorite band was resurrected and now performing live with a new vocalist coming eerily close to the original? A copycat can only copy one or two songs and not sing in a concert with 26 songs! Arnel a good cover singer??? Are you kidding me? Arnel is an excellent Journey vocalist of this generation. A very gifted singer. Period.

arnel pineda was hired in 2007....he is now the longest tenured lead singer for journey.

I never understood the "hardcore" Journey people who threw the hate towards Arnel. Either you want to see/hear Journey live, still or you don't? Arnel is about as good as it gets replacing a legend and I'll take him every day and twice on Sundays, over not having any Journey anymore.

It's just unfair comparing him to Steve, people doesn't remember Steve left a while back, the group even replaced him with Dean the drummer. Arnel brings his own sound. I know him since we're 5 yrs old and he puts his heart anytime he sings.

Hi Sir Frank! We have only few Artist like Arnel Pineda. I'm a big fan of MORISSETTE and happy to see her duet with Arnel Pineda. But i was surprised when they do the 'ROCK MEDLEY' by Aerosmith, Bon Jovi and GUNS 'N ROSES' i'm shookt! because first time i hear Morissette belt her highest notes ever! and i think Arnel are not able to hit that very high notes and let Morissette do that! Frank this reaction is spectacular. Anecdotally the first performance of Arbel Pineda in Journey was made here in Chile at the Viña del Mar festival in 2008. Arnel Pineda is such a very talented tenor lead singer! I was following how he sings other non Journey songs and this guy is phenomenal !! I guess that should AP decide to retire from Journey ( hopefully not so soon,! ) lots of music bands who got no frontman would like to have him !!! I saw his music video singing " Please Forgive Me" by Bryan Adams just now-- oh my, I got mesmerized with his voice-- the rasp in his voice is a WOW--Goosebumps !!! This guy is a good treasure found by Journey as a frontman, no wonder SP himself speaks highly of him.( as SP wants to play solo now, no Tours anymore ) Arnel Pineda is a true savior for the legacy of Journey band --now on his 15th year !!
