Arnold Rothstein ran lucrative gambling and alcohol bootlegging operations. His rise to power even saw him earn a fortune from fixing the 1919 World Series in the infamous Black Sox scandal.
Even going as far as helping to give rise to up and coming gangsters such as Lucky Luciano, Meyer Lansky and Dutch Shultz.
Things would soon change though for Rothstein after a turn in luck would end up seeing him start to lose his fortune, and getting shot after a high stakes cards game. Leading to his death at the age of 46.
