RIP Arnold's Country Kitchen. Sad to see such an iconic place close, but good that you were able to help preserve its legacy with this videos. Cherry smoked ribs looked so good. Perfect looking green beans and macaroni. Banana Pudding is always a hit when done right. The greens also looked amazing. Your channel is on a meteoric rise. It's always sad to see a classic business close. We read that the owner is tired and ready to retire. With all of the new skyscrapers being built nearby, we're wondering if they were given an offer from a developer that they couldn't turn down. We couldn't believe the line. We talked to the first person in line and he arrived at 9:15 for the 11:00 opening that day. Gentry really enjoyed his chocolate chess pie. We all tried a small bite of it and while it was very rich, it was delicious. It's always sad to see a classic business closed but it will be great that they plan to open up again in a new location. I get a meat and 3 all the time in the small town I work in over in NC and it comes with a drink and roll and it’s $7.80 with tax, 2 years ago it was $5.50 with tax before this inflation. They have a line out the door daily and it’s all southern cooking and amazing food and worth it. You rarely see these meat and 3 places anymore.

It sees property is so high on certain areas that it’s ore beneficial to close. I imagine they will reopen somehow on utskirts of town or somewhere. The thing about a business like that is they can open anywhere! People will come. They don’t need a prime location.
While we don't know, we're thinking that a developer may have given them an offer for the property that they couldn't refuse. There are a lot of new skyscrapers being built all around the restaurant. It will be interesting to see what happens to the property within the next several months.

I had the chance to eat there, and I was so excited about it, but it was disappointing. Maybe it was an off day for them. Our food was so salty I could barely eat it and I love salt. I seen great reviews for it. Wish I could have experienced what you all did. I got the roast and it was served ina bowl over grits. I didnt see all the options you guys showed.
Moe, we're very sorry to hear that you had a disappointing experience here. The macaroni was a little salty on the day we went too. Brent mentioned it briefly in the video but it was offset by the cayenne or pepper that they used.
