@@sharpiesharpie8356 I have been around people training on and off for thirty five years. My genetics suck, as do my son's and when he was fifteen he was built like a twelve year old girl. I got him training smart with everything that I learned over thirty years and after six months, my mother asked me if he was juicing. I personally spent years lifting with zero progress and other times I made great progress in less than six months when training properly and most importantly eating enough. I was ego lifting in younger years. When I let that go and started feeling the muscle, mostly compounds and eating like my life depended on it, muscles started growing. Also, little guys have to back off of caffeine and get enough sleep. I will be fifty next year and I promise you, what I am saying works. I have seen it in dozens of natural guys and in myself. Also, lift with guys that are a little better as in stronger than you. Every work out partner that I had who was less developed or not quite as strong as myself, I pushed them and they made great progress. They wanted to catch me and because we were not too far apart, it was always possible. What I mean is, if you bench 150, listen to the guys benching 300 lbs, but train with guys that are benching 175 or 200. Also, you do not grow doing concentration curls or flexing in the mirror. No showing off. Put on a baggy shirt and focus on squat, deads, pull up/chins, bench, rows. And again, eat!
