After reviewing Ryan Gosling’s cool watch collection and with the new Terminator: Dark Fate about to be released, it felt natural that our next featured celebrity would be the legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger. The Austrian-American politician, actor, filmmaker, businessman, author, and former professional bodybuilder has a truly epic watch collection and story. Nobody in the history of horology has worn as many different watches and collaborated with as many illustrious watch brands as the Governator.
In this video we discuss the iconic Seiko H558 ani-digi dive watch named after Arnie, following his action packed 80s era, in addition to the many versions of the Casio AMW320 he wore at the peak of his acting career throughout the 1990s. We also take a look at one of the rarest and most unique dive watches in the world, the U-1942 made by Italian brand U-Boat.
No video about Arnold would be complete without taking a look at his many Panerai watches, including the massive Radiomir Egiziano PAM341 and of course the Pre-Vendome Luminor Panerai Daylight Reference 5218-203A, gifted to him by Sylvester Stallone.
We also take a look at a series of collaborations with Audemars Piguet, with over 11 special editions that defined his watch tastes for the new millennium, including many Royal Oak Off Shores, and even a haute horology Perpetual Calendar. Lastly, this video would not be complete without a Rolex, and perhaps the watch he has owned the longest since the body building days preceding his Hollywood stardom - a solid gold GMT Master 16758 from the 1980s.
