When I was still in school I used to stress over Valentine's Day so much because I felt like a failure for never getting flowers or anything. Now I have realised that I'm happily aroace and my worth doesn't depend on whether someone else is romantically interested in me... and I get flowers randomly throughout the year from my mum 💚💜 (P.S.: I don't know if you noticed but your flag is upside down?)

Didn’t even watch this on the fourteenth but recently discovered the term squishes and started looking on YT. Thank you so much for your QPR videos and clarification with Mari, as well as your personal poem about hugging a tree.... there’s a lot, truly, that resonates with me, and.... yes. Hi! I just subscribed and found your comment about new subscribers funny so figured I'd introduce myself. I've recently realized that I'm asexual and pretty demi/greyromantic and what I would most like is a queerplatonic relationship, so I found your channel from one of the videos you did with Mari talking about y'all's relationship. You both seem really cool! I also followed you on Twitter and was excited to see you're Autistic and nonbinary because I am too! I haven't come out to many people irl yet, but it's exciting to find people i can relate to. I tend to subscribe to people without checking to see if they've uploaded videos recently if I really like their content. It lets me bookmark the page, but also helps me see if they ever do upload more videos.

Also as another quoiromantic person I wanted to thank you your prom is how I figured myself out and I really relate when you do ace aro and mental health vids. Um... I am just happy your back. Ok byee

I was thinking of addressing Valentines day from an aro/ace perspective in my next GSA meeting. I teach a high school equivalency class and my students were asking me what I got for valentine's day. I'm 32 years old and have never done anything for valentine's day and I'm okay with that. I believe that if people have to have a holiday to celebrate their relationships and they can't celebrate them every day, then they shouldn't be in those relationships. But that could just be me... Also: make more videos!

To me, valentine's day is free chocolate day. I also give my friends gifts I make for them UwU. I never really care if someone gives me things cause I know I don't feel attraction towards people. I just love my friends and family. relationships make me confused and anxious. I dont understand it

I’m in a QPR but my partner is kinda prioritizing their romantic partners over me, and I’m trying to give them my time as a time to check in on themself but I want to talk to them on how my wants aren’t getting met, but I don’t know how haha. Help.

How should I come out to my long-time squish who clearly likes me but is allo (I am somewhat certain they broke up with their last partner to signal to me that they are open) I really like them, but I am not what they are looking for. And DEFINITELY don’t want to do the things they did with them. I also don’t wanna hurt their feelings. How do I proceed?
