You recommend good things. We bought and are very happy with: Gardeners Supply Grow Lights Bonide RoseRx Espoma Irontone Gorilla Platform Felco 231 Felco lube better oil (Andy's three in one) You also taught us how to: Drill rocks for fountain Clean our Felcos (I made John watch it and he learned lots.) Digging holes with auger I am sure there is more but that is what came to mind. Thank you. Even really old gardeners can learn and enjoy what you have to offer.

A pretty easy, cheap option for a succulent container is a hanging basket with cocoa liner. Just make sure it has a flat bottom. Dollar stores have bright summer coated baskets on clearance. Lemon Ball sedum in a bright blue basket is stunning!

I was never a fan of succulent plants but after watching your videos, and seeing how you use them in arrangements, you have completely converted me, Laura! This arrangement is absolutely gorgeous!!!! I’m actually excited about purchasing some succulents now (wow, there’s something I never thought I would say) and making an arrangement. Thank you for always inspiring us!

This was such a relaxed pace and atmosphere of literally just being invited into your gracious space and thought process of creating a beautiful piece of living art. Just when I think there is no way another plant can fit, you put 4 more 🤣 A succulent arrangement was the first of your videos I watched; it changed how I put succulents plantings together. I get compliments on my succulent pots ever since. The mounding technique is a game changer!

Lovely succulent arrangement. I would like to share a tip for cleaning soil off of succulents without touching them with your hands. I use a soft lady's blusher brush. Works a treat and great also for removing aphids from tender shoots.

@@sheena5201 I also think it's a great idea; it would be so cute. Once I was doing a demonstration as a Master Gardner at our County Fair about unusual containers. I used my own gardening boots for a flower vase. Of course I put some vessels in each boot to hold the water and then arranged my flowers. I remember one visitor exclaimed? Are those really boots? I like using unusual containers for my floral arrangements as well as for my succulent arrangements. , I think that just adds to the creativity of the process.

I love, love, love the way you arranged these succulents! Great Job! I have many Hens and Chicks that were my grandfather's then my Dad's, and now mine which just keeping growing offsprings and I keep giving them away to family and friends. I keep them outside all year. Not a problem in winter.

Thank you for introducing me to succulents. I am just about to create an entire succulent bed on an ancient terrace we have just finished converting into a cabane, and the succulent bed will be the crowning glory of a low wall with a stunning view which we didn't want to block with a flower bed, but it is an ugly, uneven wall so we have to do something, we were scratching our heads and then I thought "succulents", Laura's loved succulents would be perfect for a very shallow bed which will add to the beauty of the view. Then I come inside and your video today is about succulents. Well I think that was all the confirmation I needed :-) I think I will have to name it after you !

So beautiful! I wished I lived closer to your parent's garden center, there is a greenhouse in our town that has loads of different succulents and cacti but they don't allow you into the greenhouse and only sell the ones on a small display and a little 2-inch pot is $4! So I'm left with the slim pickins at the big box stores. As a side note, you can get a blower to use for blowing the dirt off plants they are made to clean cameras, they actually do look like an industrial baby nose cleaner lol

Your arrangement is spectacular Laura! I found your channel just a few weeks ago and this is the video I’ve been looking for. I invested in 2 arrangements for my south facing porch this summer because I needed something low maintenance. They thrived and have doubled in size! Now I am scrambling to figure out how to care for them over the winter here in Ohio. I’ve brought them inside and was going to divide them up but now I am thinking of waiting until spring. Your videos are so informative and have me hooked!

You need to get a lazy Susan tray to pot your succulents then you could spin it every time you want to check how you are going. Beautiful arrangement. Reminds me that I must get to all my succulents and repot as necessary
