Taking Apart & Rebuilding a Succulent Arrangement with Cuttings! 🌿✂️🥰 // Garden Answer 

I found your channel several years ago as I was searching how to make a succulent ball. The video was great & very informative however my arrangement did not turn out well 😢. But through my failure I have learned so much about succulents & landscaping from your videos. My mom who lives in Georgia (her garden is like the cover to a better homes & garden magazine) came up to NJ visit this spring and was so impressed with all my new plants & flowers. Everyone kept saying oh I can tell your mom was here & I said she was but this was all me. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

My kids gave me the best gift for Christmas this year. They gave me a 3 tier raised bed planter and 12 months of succulents! I'm so excited to start arranging beautiful succulent arrangements! Thank you for inspiring me. I absolutely love your videos and you're the first thing I watch every morning

This projects of your's hooked me up to watch more about ur channel Laura since about 5 or 6 years ago even Proven Winner vids. I love ur dish/fairy garden and i learned a lot from you specially we have this school competitions on making dish gardens where students actually made it and Im just coaching. I've commented on this once before but I'll say it again. I've never been a fan of succlents.......until I saw your arrangement that you did outside a while back and then this one today. Absolutely beautiful!

I know you think your channel is mainly outdoor plants, but I first found your channel years ago when you did your first succulent arrangement at your old townhome. I was new to plants, and I was told succulents were the best to start with. So I did one of those “succulent of the month” things. I soon discovered that I am a heavy waterer, and I should of started with regular houseplants. But thanks to your channel and the knowledge you share, I know exactly where I went wrong. I lost 99% of the succulents I received in the mail to over watering. Now (I guess it’s been closer to 6 yrs) I have over 200 houseplants and 100 succulents in our home. And all are thriving beautifully thanks to the things you have taught me through the years. Your channel is always my go-to for plants. I even have a section of water plants that are still doing amazing after 3-4yrs!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge, and giving me a direction to an actual hobby I love!!

OMG I’m I sunny Queensland Australia and we are lucky to get 3 months in a tight scape like that. We like to place “babies” spread out and in about 6 mths we have to re-do the pot because they have grown too big and have their own babies. But I am totally inspired by your design Laura and might put a little more creativity into the next one. Thank you lovely 😊

Laura your channel always teaches me knew things, for one: I grew up thinking succulents were always fake plants...LOL - after watching you for years now I have a new respect for them and want to try them as a house plant. :) Love your channel and look forward to watching every morning (now M-F and on Sundays) while enjoying my coffee and planning out my garden.

Thanks so much for this video; I make my indoor succulent containers into Fairy Gardens by the season and this was how i found this channel so many years ago. I loved this because it's all testament of how successful a succulent garden will make you feel and propagating new ones makes so much sense and saves so much money!! Your arrangement is lovely and now makes me want to change out my Fall Fairy garden in my kitchen Garden window!! That window makes perfect "grow lights" here in my zone (6a, Indiana)! This also is very calming and therapeutic too especially in these colder Winter months! Thanks again for all your inspiration!

Good morning Garden Answer friends! I have succulents in my landscape in Traverse City, Michigan, 5b zone. I thought at first they were fake, possibly the previous renters or landlord planted them & had some type of theme, I could not recognize under the layers of leaves since it was fall when we moved in. 🤔 I would have never of guessed a real succulent could live through. cold Michigan winters, outside in the ground. . However, these succulents proved me very wrong. The next fall I dug them up since the chicks and hens were forming randomly through irises. They are now lined up and doing well. Thank you Laura for another wonderful tutorial video.

I would love to see that tray of leaves in updates all the way until you have the rosettes at a size you can use them! Beautiful arrangement

I really enjoy these house plant/succulent videos. I hope in the future when the weather gets warmer, and you go back into the garden again to work, you will still continue to do these indoor type of plant videos once in awhile. :)

Can you do a few recap of the outside garden videos? Maybe a before/after of some of the changes, or your favorite visages with commentary on why? I love how you pack them all in so tight, I can't get them as tight as you can....need more practice probably! So beautiful, love how it turned out! It was so funny when you said that you don't know how you want to do the arrangement, design wise, 😅 hilarious to me....because I am the same way. Fun to watch! Creating succulent arrangements and care is what first brought me to your channel many years ago. I have loved the journey and eagerly await every video. I’m watching this from a very very hot Perth Western Australia. 9pm at night and is still 30°c (86°f). Christmas Day was 45°c (113°f)

Nice thing about succulents they are pretty forgiving. I planted an outdoor succulent garden during covid. During summer you can buy gallon size succulents.

I appreciate that you have such a wealth of plant and garden knowledge and pass it on so that we can then use it to make our gardens and/or indoor planters look so much better. This video was particularly interesting to me since I often purchase succulents for small window sills and then never know what to do with them when they put on too much height and no longer look good. Now I know. And maybe I can stop repeat purchases these plants. LOL. Hopefully you can show us the leaves that you placed on top of the soil in a few months when the put on new growth. Hi! I live in Southern California. There's a woman, Laura Eubanks, who has a RU-vid channel, Design for Serenity. She uses succulents and cacti. She's known for "succulent tapestry". She pronounces cotyledon cot-ill-eee-dun. There's no emphasis on any of the syllables. A zone 9 to 10 vegetable Gardner on RU-vid is Epic Gardening. I sure love your channel.

Hello there… I’ve been watching your videos and they are so good. The only thing is we live in a different climatic conditions. This is Gitanjali saying hello from the capital of India 🤗. I got some succulents and going to make an arrangement soon. I realised that they are well rooted …thick long roots. Please advise whether to trim the roots or not before putting in the arrangement. Would wait for your reply.

Succulents my gardening kryptonite! I lose all gardening powers when I try to grow them. You definitely have super powers when it comes to succulents! Another amazing arrangement! 💚 Question: what do you do with all the plants on your grow racks when it’s time to start your seeds? Also, what ever happened to your Lisianthus you started last Jan? I don’t recall seeing it in your cut flower garden this summer.
