Let’s be honest, if it wasn’t a celebrity, and these were the actions of a random guy or a homeless person, they would just be thrown in jail and no one would be saying anything about “getting help.”

So let me get this straight...on a Flash TV show the actor that played Ralph Dibney was fired for saying mean things YEARS before he was on the show (and he was already on for 2-3 years when it came out). He apologized, saying that he was just being young and stupid but was fired anyway... ...and the Flash movie actor has committed multiple acts of assault against women, but that's OK... Idk anymore

From what I heard from insiders & other RU-vid Arrowverse centered channels is that WBTV is pretty much independent from Warner bros features. WBTV makes independent decision, production, goals & ideals from Warner bros feature on whether to keep an actor or not. Warner bros features on the other hand only has a say in whether or not say anything A-list character like Batman can have a tv series or even appearance for that matter.
I agree, it was stupid. They only fired Hartley Sawyer to appease the woke mob, since that info came out at the height of the racially-motivated riots. Still, it was incredibly stupid of WB to not look into his tweets before hiring him and then firing him years later as if his tweets were some secret.
Reshooting all his scenes would be a nightmare for all the people in the crew. If I was WB, I would just release it as is but put out a statement immediately condemning Ezra Miller and make it clear that they’re severing all ties with him going forward.

Even if they recast and reshoot the movie, the damage has been done PR wise because it will forever be remembered as the cursed movie that's been delayed forever and everyone will still be asked about ezra miller. Imagine what kind of questions ezras' replacement will get all throughout the marketing.

You can definitely still release the movie but they need to get out in front of this. Suspend him, confirm he is getting help, force a public apology from him, and then keep him off the press tour and release the movie. It's unfair to fans and the people that worked hard on it to just not release it.

What they should do is release the flash movie but Find a way to change the ending… Or at least an end credit scene Resulting in him getting stuck in the speed force and bringing in Wally West for the next movies. Most of the LGBT community are saying screw them from what I’ve seen, they’re turning this into an issue of “we can’t fire them, they’re non-binary how will that look?” When there is no issue. If Ezra is being a violent asshat then they need to be removed from the film and most of the community would say “yeah, screw them they attacked a woman”
If he wasn’t rich or had a regular job, no one would say get him help or I feel bad for him. They would say lock him up and the person would automatically lose their job. Actors aren’t above the law or consequences.

Part of why he’s still on the film is that this is happening outside continental US. Imagine if this had happened in LA…the coverage would be much greater.
I don’t want to turn this into a DC vs MCU thing, but this type of thing is exactly why I think studios should adopt the MCU method of casting their actors. Sarah Finn, the casting director for almost the entire MCU, personally meets up with the actors who are in final stages on multiple occasions to get a feel of how personable and friendly they are. That is why we always get hilarious interviews with MCU actors every time there’s a press tour, because the actors are naturally like that. Other studios should take notice, good natured people deserve these opportunities over egotistical weirdoes, it’ll also save them money in the long term.

Ezra is acting anyway either 21 or 22-year-old actor new to the scene, and overwhelmed by Newfame, would act. But he’s 29, think about the other actors like Brad Pitt, Will Smith… In his late 20s that is, Tom Cruise, they didn’t have crazy scandals like this at the same age. Ezra isn’t young anymore, it’s been five years since justice league came when he was a youthful 22 yr old, he is old enough to know better. He is going to harm the DC brand, and no one is going to want to see his upcoming flash movie. If he keeps up his attitude, Marvel cinematic universe will be the only game in town
This has been going on with actors for years and years. It’s no different now then it was before. Only difference is now we hear about it instantly on social media. He needs help no doubt but let’s not all of a sudden pretend movie studios really care about anything but money.

Ezra Miller is getting arrested, Amber Heard is on trial right now and she could lose and Warner Bros kept defending her, Ray Fisher had his stuff with Warner Bros, Ben Affleck is leaving Batman, Henry Cavill is almost gone as Superman, Wonder Woman 1984 didn't do so well. Let's face it. The only people that they have in their good graces are Gal Godot and Jason Momoa. So honestly look I know Zack Snyder's justice league was amazing but I think it's time to just bury this DC Extended Universe and start fresh maybe with this Robert Pattinson universe but yeah just end the DCEU now

So I don't think they can continue this DCEU with only two characters and one Anti-Hero in Harley Quinn and Peacemaker.

Ezra Miller can't go out to promote the movie and talk to the press cause they will probably only want to talk about his incidents and he's the star of the movie. So if they can't scrap it than just do what Disney did with Death on The Nile and just quietly put on HBO Max and be done with it. That's the only thing I can see happening other than just reshooting all the scenes with Ezra Miller on with a different actor. Cause I don't see this movie just continue to be promoted with Ezra Miller showing up on the trailers and then I also can't see them doing press with the cast because no one will want to talk to Ezra Miller. Even with the contracts forcing them to do it
I think you keep the movie the way it is, move Michael Keaton into the lead press role, and once the movie comes out cut off all business relations with him. I know it might draw eyes that the star isn’t promoting his own film but it’s better than having him out there.
When Ezra's only punishment is not participating in interviews at press screenings for the latest Fantastic Beasts movie he is not being punished. That just gives him more time and opportunity to create chaos that results in his arrest. WB/DC is supposed to be under new management, this is the time to show there is a new boss in town.
Not seeing this Flash film with Miller. Person literally has an issue with attacking women. Done. Reshoot scenes or do a deep fake and move on. You can reshoot anything and you can have him Ezra in some of movie and simply replace him. New company can just write off loss and needs to rebuild DC anyway.
Ezra can be sued by WB for violation of a “morality clause” one would assume WB put in their contract. But it is not about Ezra. Flash is a kid’s superhero. He is the most popular DC character on CW. I believe Ezra was miscast at start; however, now you must replace him to protect the brand. It is not about one movie, but future movies. You can’t have a person who routinely attacks women acting as your comic book hero.
So now WB has to contemplate the reality of having to recast yet another pivotal character for Fantastic Beasts 4(should this film happen). As for The Flash, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they just cut their losses and send it to HBO Max. Miller's current situation is going to overshadow everything he does going forward. Before this, I thought maybe WB could sit the guy down and issue an ultimatum: get help immediately or be dismissed. But now we're at the point of no return. That said, if RDJ can come back from where he was 20-25 years ago then there's hope for Ezra- if he's willing to try
Has anybody noticed that Ezras outbursts seem more often than not to target women? I haven't yet heard a single person comment on this aspect of these incidents.
IMO the situation has gone past removing Ezra and now we should be concerned about helping him from hurting himself or anybody else further and WB is most equipped to do so .
I completely agree WB’s in between a rock and a hard place. I don’t know if Flash is redeemable now, being delayed already and now this stuff! I could see them releasing to HBOMAX later but even that might be a little beyond late. Idk it’s a tough situation for the company.
