Hi it’s Paul from Kent again a really good ride I used to go to Liverpool years ago to see my friend and get the national express 550 from London Victoria to Liverpool Norton street. Coming back to London I remember going back via Warrington as well. It’s so good you are doing the major cities Suggestions for future videos Nottingham derby Lincoln

I thought that speed bumps were supposed to be done away with around the UK, especially on bus routes as it was costing bus operators an absolute fortune to replace shock absorbers and repair vehicle suspensions and was doing nothing or very little to deter aggressive drivers.

I wondered where he was going when he turned right and went into what looked like M&S's warehouse then out the other side straight into the bus Interchange via a mini-roundabout.🥴

Are buses runned by government or by a private entity
@spacecowboy151
@spacecowboy151 Год назад
mostly private entities but in london it is branded as transport for london which is government run
@kwamescratch6727
@kwamescratch6727 Год назад
@@spacecowboy151 so the government pays the bus workers?
@spacecowboy151
@spacecowboy151 Год назад
im not sure whether that's so in london but definitely not anywhere else

@@kwamescratch6727 In London, the government contracts private companies to run the services for a fee to a set specification. Elsewhere in Britain, (with the exception of some unprofitable local council contracted routes) bus operations are down to private companies operating for profit. The busiest routes often have competition from multiple operators with their own ticketing systems, although consolidation has lead to more and more areas now having only one company with a local monoploy.

@@mysterymanreturns oh ok, so all the double decker buses are bought by private companies for the running of the service in collaboration of the government?
