First time ARRIVING AT COPENHAGEN AIRPORT? Getting from Copenhagen Airport to the City Center can be a little confusing with all the options you have. In this video I will go through your options and in my view the smoothest option you have which in my view is the Metro :)
But I will also go through other Public Transport options from the Copenhagen Airport to Copenhagen's City Center as well. I hope this video helps you guys with the info provided!

Great video for beginner travelers! I also watched your ultimate ticket guide but am still unsure about the best option I'd like to choose. So I will stay in Copenhagen for 7 days, and I want to use my legs as much as I can to get across the city) But I still need to get from the airport to my airbnb, which is not far from VIBENSHUS RUNDDEL metro station. Is there the best option for me that you can recommend? (don't know how big is Copenhagen, and if there is a need to use public transport to get from one city landmark to another)

I would say if you are near to Vibenshus Runddel, you are about a 40 Minute walk from the city center (Torvahallen for example). You mention you want to use your legs so if this type of walk is okay for you, then I would suggest just getting single tickets. Once in the center, for me everything is in a fairly good walking distance. If the walk is too much one day or it is raining hard you could always just get a return day ticket or a ticket for the day. If of course this walk seems a little too much for sightseeing daily then I would say get one of the weekly tickets if you plan on travelling everyday. Hope this helps and if you have any other questions just let me know.

Hi! Just found your channel and subscribed too. Thanks for this helpful video as we will be in Copenhagen later in the year. By the way, is there any direct bus/train from cruise terminal to the airport?

Greetings from Finland. Thanks for very informative and well made videos!!! We are coming to Copenhagen during july at least for week. How walkable central is? Like from train station to all attraction in central area. I have watched all your videos. What is biggest difference between that Rejsecard and small citypass?
@landersen8173
@landersen8173 5 месяцев назад
Dane here. The city is very walkable. The central station is right across the street from Tivoli and 300 m from the city hall square. Most attractions are within 2-3 km walking distance. The Metro will take you closer to Nyhavn or Amalienborg castle. Which card/pass to use depends on where you´re staying and what you want to see. Not much difference between Rejsecard and city pass. A Copenhagen card will give you access to all public transportation and includes the entrance fee for most attractions. This is the cheapest option if you´re planning to see the castles from the inside, Tivoli and the museums etc. Enjoy your stay.

Very good video, one question though, can we use cash at the red ticket machines or it has to be a card?
@nomadnish

I'm just returning from the airport and there are some Red Machines that take cash. Not all of them though. Besides the red machines at metro stations you usually get the metal coloured machines and these usually take coins as well. No paper notes in these ones. How this helps

Nice video, but I saw it just now. When Ilived in Copenhagen before I moved to Bangkok I had another option: Walking from the airport as I lived close to Lergravsparken metro station! Did it not often, but sometimes. And sometimes I took the E-bikes provided by "Bycyklen", but that option vanished in 2022 as had to find out when I came for a visit in 2023. Copenhagen is nice with public transport...but not my place.

Can you tell me where to get metro train card?How can a first timer buy train tickets?

Great rundown of the options. We are staying a Villa Copenhagen next to central station so the train seems like the best option..and less walking from terminal.

Thank you so much for this helpful video! I’ll be travelling solo in Europe for the first time from Canada, and we do not have any kind of true train or metro infrastructure from airports. This was very helpful to see the full way to get to both platforms!

Thank you for this video. It’s really helpful to know where to exit from the airport. I downloaded the CPH app to get unlimited rides and museum/attractions passes.
