We did Harris & Lewis thus time last year, however we had 16DegC+ and total clear blue skies all week. Will send you detail of a fantastic wild camping site/beach on the Macar, just into Lewis.
If you get the chance on your trip, try this "official wild camping site". It is bliss. goo.gl/maps/w3ibzuJWCfy There is a campsite at Bhaltos, which is ok, but the above spot is better.
New adventures, nearly wild camping, how long are the days up there, plenty of walks, hope you have stocked up on the food, not many pub grubs, will be good for the waistband, mine now have elasticated sides. Sun rise and sunsets should be spectacular !
Glad to hear the SeaBands worked. 🤢 Herself also used them and found helpful. We also always travel with ginger biscuits. Great for any nausea... and with Tea. 🍪☕ Sorry to see you have typical Scottish weather. Hope you get some clear bright days to really appreciate the scenery. 🌄👍
Very beautiful place, I really love your videos from Scotland, I wonder how hard will be moving there after England is out of the European Union with an American passport
It's not really wild camping there, as it is on a campsite. Perhaps it might be considered off-grid camping. £14 per night with even limited facilities is a bargain in such beautiful surroundings. We chose to wild camp on Harris and it was £5 per night.
