We started off our Philippines travels with a night bus to Banaue to visit the Batad rice terraces which are sometimes known as the eighth wonder of the world! It was amazing to learn about how the rice is grown and harvested, as well as about the lives of the people who live and work here. We then flew to Palawan where we spent the night in Puerto Princess and saw fireflies!
