Question, when you use the QR code from Japan web, do you also receive a visitor/temporary stamp on your passport? Asking because it’s one of the requirements to obtain the JR pass.
@@CantoExplorersgood to know! I’m visiting Japan with 2 of my buddies this December and we’re staying at the same sequence hotel - bunk bed 3 as well! I did see a review somewhere that a lot of people were complaining about how noisy it is over there. Is that true from your experience?
@@tomygun196 I don't think it was noisy at all! Granted we were on like the 6th floor, but the park is relatively quiet late night/early morning. You might hear the train occasionally but nothing that disturbed our sleep. For the convenient location, it was a great stay!
I'm planning a trip and taking my mom, unfortunately my mom doesn't do well with both long stairs and escalators. Does this Hotel have an elevator that leads to both the park and street level? I narrowed it down to two maybe three hotels.
So the hotel has elevators to the lobby, then a separate private elevator to each hotel floors. The mall is technically a little separate, but they have escalators from street level to each mall floor nearby.
@@CantoExplorers Thank you for the quick response. I subscribed☺ As cool as this hotel is including that view of the park, I guess I have to go with the other hotel with my mom. Maybe if I ever go with someone else, I'll be booking here for sure🙂
Forgot to mention you can get to the park from the lobby floor of the hotel, which you can access through elevator. We don't remember if the mall itself has elevators, but could be worth a check on Miyashita Park website.
This was filmed back in March 2023 when masks were still required for entry in certain places. I think the rules have loosened now but some stores/restaurants may still require it so I would just respect their policy.
