Just picked up the felony today went ahead and got some extra tires same purchase they had them in stock. I must say looking the car over it looks pretty well built haven’t run it yet going over all the nuts and bolts they are all on tight and seem to be all uniformly tightened nothing loose, took the huge tail wing off like the looks without it changed the hood to the blower and put blower decal in it because in my opinion it looks awesome with it on, put 4 aa batteries in controller put 2 3s batterie packs in car to make it 6s plugged them in turned car on, car is on a stand steering servos work gave it throttle and man I can tell this thing is going to lay down some rubber good thing I got extra tires, the tires seem to be very good on road tires no ballooning when giving it throttle I can tell this is going to be fast, not going to put the speed gear in it just yet will do that after a few runs. I got the bug for this car from watching earls videos all earls fault yup I’m blaming earl for this purchase looking forward to running this car
Heads up… If I did this over I would go with the Infraction v2 over the Felony. I love the Felony, I love the looks of the body (all black), I even ordered the back brake setup for my Felony (back ordered of course). The big issue is the back tires. In 4 battery runs my back tires are gone. They are not available anywhere, they are saying they hope to get them in by the end of October. I have almost 1k into a car that I cant use until they get the back tires in. those back tires are also $5 more. I love the look of the felony, I am not fond of either of the paint schemes of the infraction V2. One very big bonus of the Felony is the way the body fits, I had rubber everywhere on the frame, almost nothing else, no rocks or anything else, and this was on the 4 runs. It is really a toss-up. But the tire issue is huge, I am almost to the point of swapping the gearing in the back so I can run the same tires front and back. Either car you get, you are going to be happy with, as long as you can get tires.
I agree the felony I spoke to horizon today I ordered 4sets of rear the day i ordered the car and I’m told 10/26/2020 they get the tires so I should have them on 11/01/2020 that’s not cool at all 🔥🔥💯💯💯
Maybe you could find a busier road next time. Just kidding around, finding a good place to run is what has kept me from buying an on road vehicle. I just know I would end up with road rage from all the traffic lol. Good video, keep it up!

I just ordered both from Horizon today - I cant wait to take them for a rip. Now I can take all the street stuff off my Typhon 6s and put the buggy tires back on
I like the Felony better, looks wise, but they got the Infraction on sale right now $100 off.. wish the Felony had the E brake but I’m thinking bout pulling the trigger on the Infraction today. I’ve got a dozen bashers but never had a street car and want a good drifter so this might be it lol
@@earlmoorhead5555 should help keep most the stones and rubber out of chassis, I have the limitless, like the look of the felony but prefer the standard sized wheels and diffs on the infraction

I ordered my first onroad car today so I have something other then my redcat to drive around, it’s the blaze r2 on hobby king I think I’m gonna run a killer body Nissan skyline r34 contact rc foam tires, and cheap motor and esc
Hey Earl, the antenna rubber tip on my v2 was stuck to the underside of by body like yours was! 🤦♂️ also, dont use the hand brake wile hitting the throttle, you will grenade your diff. Page 11 in the manual. Also, I watched another youtuber blow his up that way.
All depends on the trigger like I was trying to explain you just want the slip out the driveline without loading the diff or it will be spinning the diff on the inside and will blow up for sure only an 1/8 trigger is all it can hold for sure 👍👍🔥💯💯💯appreciate the information tho 💪💪💪
Thats actually a kinda rare 330 ci or i zhp package car hard to fine clean ones these days wish i kept my e46 m3 it was a convertible though and top was leaking and acting up
it will be less drag, but I think it really helps keep the car stable at higher speeds. So far I only use the lower gear and the back end feels like it is lifting up even with the wing.

Truly I like the felony the V2 an animal but my v1 are built so much better I thought I’d like the hand brake more but I didn’t see much use but the body is sick on the V2 infraction 👍👍🔥🔥💯💯💯
I want that infraction, but I don't have a good place to drive it right now. I'd almost get a Mojave, but if I wonder if a V2 will pop up sooner than later. Lol

I'm thinking about getting the power hobbies grippers for my 6s infraction I see you have those on the limitless which ones are the best for the infraction the deep dish or the smaller ones 🤔

I think it is a cost thing. they want to keep the cost the same. the infraction you get the brake, on the Felony you get wider tires and you get bolt on stuff for the hood. I have the brake kit on order for my felony but of course it is in back order with the damn rear tires...
@@earlmoorhead5555 you got me wondering what it would take to convert a v1 infraction into a V2... Besides replacing electronics. I've been pretty happy with the blx setup, but I've only gotten to 60mph so far. The speed game is new to me on RCS. Getting ready to amp up to that other pinion and try for 80mph. But after that, I may look into making it a V2.

Earl just saw the video and the range on your felony, looked to me you that you had good range. When I lost signal on mine it was less then what you just did. I'm wondering since I did mine at a residential area I might have had interference issue.
I always rebind and recalibrate my rc when I get them as the trigger could be off and rang could be poor rc guy garage picked up speed when I told him so he made a video doing the calibration 👍👍🔥🔥💯💯💯
Earl Moorhead Recalibrated and test. Did a few passes and thought that issues was fixed but lost control again and the car wasn't even far from me. It just past me when I tried to use the brake and noticed it wasn't slowing down. Any ideas what it can be? Transmitter battery was fully charged. I was using 2 3S 5000mah fully charged battery. Earl Moorhead I don't think its a thermo shutdown since it comes back to life after a couple of seconds, it's more like a momentary brownout. Yes with the speed gear.
Sound like the esc has an issue to me or it’s like Jaytee video today on his speed run the motor got hot it shut down on his speed passes and came on check out his video with the felony speed run is it like that ??? I’ll see if I can link his video 💯💯
Interesting vid. I have a blue infraction on the way but all my batteries have deans connectors. So I am thinking that I will need to change my batteries to IC5 or EC5 connectors? I was considering getting a deans to IC5 adapter but was told the deans may not handle the load/current, is this correct? Or do you think deans connectors would be ok? 🤔 Anyone?
They'll work as is. I have litterally the same issue. My batteries are deans and traxxas so I need to figure something out and quick. I was think I'm cutting off the Deans and soldering some stout IC5 connectors such as the ones that come on the truck. I heard xt90s are the better ones, but im sure IC5 can handle the same power current

Just curious, I know "anything" can be done, but would it look odd/weird to drop a felony body onto a limitless? It looks like the dimensions are very similar but I don't know if it would look right. It would be greatly appreciated if you could check. I'd much rather buy a limitless roller than to buy a felony and take out all the electronics to put in my own. Thanks
