Wise move....on all my Arrma road cars before I run them....get rid of the slop. The Felony has a lot in the rear...I had the use about 3-4 shims on the rear or each hub. I also had to add more washers for the hub towers at bottom where the long screw travels through... Yes....always clay balance the tires or tape...check the slop all around. Also, check the camber all around...the rear needs to be about a -1 to 0 for good tire wear and the front needs to be checked as well for these speed cars.....
@@antwainnfloyd Sorry for the late reply... what I used to shim all the tires I put these behind the outside bearing which pushes it out some to take some that slop out...2-3 you may need, Tekno TKR1222 Diff Shims: www.amazon.com/TEKNO-RC-LLC-13x16x-1mm-Shims/dp/B00F8OQ2NC/ref=sxts_sxwds-bia-wc-p13n1_0?cv_ct_cx=tkr1222&dchild=1&keywords=tkr1222&pd_rd_i=B00F8OQ2NC&pd_rd_r=6e8c9bdf-ddf8-4a85-87ba-decb72c1eeb0&pd_rd_w=7Arng&pd_rd_wg=XnajD&pf_rd_p=1835a2a9-7ed8-48dc-ad07-fcd7527bd2bc&pf_rd_r=W6E2QQ53Z83XTRKG20F6&psc=1&qid=1608223023&sr=1-1-80ba0e26-a1cd-4e7b-87a0-a2ffae3a273c I used 1-2 these for the front upper suspension arm if you have a lot of movement there www.amazon.com/ARRMA-Shim-5-4x9-5x0-2mm-8-ARA709057/dp/B07Q468M2M/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=ara709057&qid=1608223296&sr=8-1 For the rear hub to remove all the slop and movement I added more those plastic washers that you see when you remove that long bottom bolt. I always buy the extra screw kit from Jenny's RC so I have extra screws, etc for the RC. So I took some out that pack to add to my rear hub to make where it did not wobble and move: www.amainhobbies.com/arrma-rear-hub-set-2-ara330193/p409465?r=0 Link is the full assembly I only needed the plastic washers Jenny's these are handy to have for the extra screws and pieces I buy one for all my RCs jennysrc.com/collections/felony/products/arrma-felony-6s-screws-tools-hardware-standoffs-balls-outcast-ara7617v2
Hey Big Im Joe I noticed also out of the box my tires where worn after a few runs on the inside. you would think that they would have them balanced out of the factory?. bud Im a new sub and like to your channel..thanks for that great info!!
Yes indeed.....1st priority with the hoons out of the bag is to bead the tire with superglue all around the inside and outside. 1st run on new shipment of hoons blew out.
I just adjusted the camber on the front and rear. Was way off. I hate how the tow of the rear points in ward. Supposedly it adds traction. Im sure at the expense of tire wear 🙄.
My front right tire is completely bald and the front left is still 50% life. There’s also a small patch on the bald tire that has a little bit of tread as if it’s not making full contact. I’m watching this vid bcs of my search. I only do mild speeds and drift, either way all tires go bald at some point and it’ll be a shame to have to buy a new pair just bcs of one tire.
