Arrma Fireteam 6s Bash and Durability Test. Probably one of my favorite and Best bashers next to the Xmaxx. This thing handles very well and very durable. #rc #rccars
I thought these were silly when they came out. Then when they went on sale a year ago we snatched one up - couldn't beat the price for 1/7 Arrma 6s! Now it's seriously one of our favorite large scale bashers and gets as much use as our Losi LMT. Absolutely love it! Also our new go-to snow rig.
I think its a decent price especially for the size coming from someone who bought an xmaxx sure its a little smaller but its only a 100 bucks more and it comes with a handbrake which is cool to me, idk this hobby will always be expensive but its too much fun @@FivoNine
Arrma killing it year after year. I ran my Mojave 4S yesterday and I fell in love with it all over again. Work has been crazy so I haven’t had a chance to drive it since it came out but damn this thing handled so well and puts down power super smooth
@@FivoNine they have all kinds of upgrades for it , I'm turning the crew into white assassin's !! 😂😂😂😂💪that's why it's still in the box , I keep coming up with new ideas , gunna be cool stuff !
Fire team 6s is top shelf. You have to move the battery back to stop the nose dives! Also what boost settings are you at? I turned the boost off and kick down and get ridiculous performance! The E-brake is amazing but I'm going to remove it and make a variable wing! Happy new years!
I agree that the Fireteam is definitely tough, somebody did a vid the other day saying how terrible it is and I had to disagree, I'm in no way an Arrma fan but I do like my Fireteam, it's tough, fast and fun to drive....
I think I know what video you talking about and I disagree with it too, compared to other cars it can definitely take a beating, a little overpriced but still tuff and fun to drive
I cant seem to keep an Arrma product from dismantling itself. I had a Typhon 3s and it broke so much i had to get rid of it, traded it for a Losi Rock Rey. I have two Arrma Outcast 8s products currently. EXB and a RTR. I have the EXB because it went on sale for $499, not been used yet. Have the RTR that breaks an axle nearly every run, broke a shock tower, center diff came apart fairly early on and i never even jumped it. Have the Kraton EXB with a Castle MMX8s system i've only ran on 4s and gears are already clicking in the rear with a proper shimming and only ran a handfull of times. The Arrma products are the most brittle of my collection and my collection is 28. I dont even use them anymore but would lose a LOT of money if i tried to sell them. Only used the O8S RTR maybe close to a dozen times, the Kraton EXB maybe a half a dozen times. The Typhon i ran twice before getting rid of it but broke or had issues with 2 different parts each run. I shit you not, ive broken more parts on 1 Arrma than i have on my Proboat, Eflite, Traxxas, Losi and Axial products combined. I honestly dont know how people keep them from breaking so much in videos but i am over owning any more Arrma.
Hey there kind mr.fivo, you should make some more trx4 content! You make some stellar quality content man, unlike anything else you see from the big guys still recording on phones and GoPro😑
Scuff the flat end of the motor shaft with sandpaper, grind down the pinion's set screw (grub screw) completely flat so there's no hollow cavity on the bottom end of it, then use red loctite. Keep a mini torch for whenever you need to remove it.
Get a Tekno pinion, it has a bigger grub screw. They also have double grub screw options and the quality is awesome, I used this for my fireteam and it’s been good to me.
