Just a lil early run and comparison between these two 1/7 6s brutes. Both almost completely stock. Running 16t “party pinion” in both. Which do you think did it better?

Haha thanks 😜 dude it’s such a blast to drive. As they all are different, the FT is what I would call an “all around fun ripper” playful, with its stance and proper gearing it can maul rough terrain better than most. That sale was legendary haha that’s where I got the second one. Highly recommend it, top 3 of all time Arrma in my opinion. Would be cool to see one turned into a rock crawler w/ a proper sensored system. I Remember seeing someone else doing it but can’t remember who.
The roll over is a lot of driver error, if the Big Rock hadn’t of broken so soon it probably would have been rolling too. 😆🤦🏼♂️ now I have equal sized battles to do a better comparison. Only problem I have with fixing the rollovers is walking out there leaves big holes that the car doesn’t like 🥴🫣 longer rigs are where it’s at in my opinion 🤘🏼🤘🏼
What's your clean-up process after running in the snow and mud like that? I always try to avoid it cause clean-up sucks after a wet run...lol! Was just curious on your techniques 👍
Here in Alaska if it’s not raining or snowing it’s getting ready to haha no hiding from it here. My process is get the tires, body and battery out by the front door. Mob the rig straight into the tub. I wash the heavy stuff outta the chassis first then I use a foaming cleaner simple green foaming is best but scrubbing bubbles or other brand works. I use a a small paint brush and work the foam getting into the deep corners. I usually will shoot a lil in the bearings and roll so they get flushed out. Super good rinse, again turning the axles and bearings to flush everything out. Then it’s out to air dry while I do the tires and body real quick don’t let it sit too long or rust will pop up. I use compressed air to remove the excess water then a heat gun to get fully dry. It takes about an hour and a half in total. Not for most or the faint of heart haha but works for me, everybody has their own preferences. Lube bearings etc afterwards to your liking. I know my bearings will wear out faster but I’m ok with this way. Thanks for coming by, bash on dude 🤘🏼🤘🏼🚀🔥
@StraitJacketRC thanks for the tips 👍 I always get nervous rinsing them with water 😲 but apparently a lot of people do and it doesn't seem to hurt or effect the electronics at all?
@@alanbenoit1478 nope! Not a problem at all for the electronics. I would avoid fully submerging or too much pressure as the radio box can get water in it. I don’t think the receiver is super waterproof, but I’ve never had an issue. Only thing that I keep dry as much as possible are my tire foams. As long as they have venting holes in the tread section they should clear the water out. Hope that helps alleviate some anxiety for you 🤘🏼🤘🏼🫠
