It's remarkably strong Joe. The design of the drivetrain is almost bulletproof. The spur is the weak link, and it's given me no issues so far

@NOTORIOUS_J_RC Same here, I need a healthier battery I think for mine. I've got tons of Kv, but the battery I've been using seems less potent every time I run it lately.

@@Rek_Rc Mine's currently using only a 3800kv, but I managed to plug 6s into it. lot's pf possibilities and I'll be following along to see your progress.

Trying not to tighten that slipper too much, but might have to if I want to reach it's full potential

Actually, I managed to get a 21t in. Just pushed the motor all the way to the front and the mesh was perfect.

Top of the front tower cracked. It's a separate piece from the chassis. Made a small aluminum bracket as a temporary fix

I was using a Hobbywing 3660 3200kv motor with a 5mm shaft. The game changer is using spur gears from the Infraction 3s so you can decrease the tooth count on the spur and increase the tooth count on the motor.

Mine is back to 3s now too, and just a fun little basher.

How good is holding up the gool RC motor ? Is worth the extra money of the hobbywing motor ?

Castle MMX8S and a cheap 3800kv motor. Got it to 80, but it just kept blowing over after that.

It's actually 1/10 scale and those are actual mph off a gps. Power to weight is the key here.
