The day has arrived and my infraction is unboxed. Thanks heaps for all the tips and advice you’ve surely saved me some headaches and overheating issues! Thanks to yourself and Jason at jj customs.
Lost 2 screws on mine! Your points are right on point! And i have the yeah racing fans on mine and it helps tremendously! I love this truck! Go armma!👍👍👍😎👽
Rich what tires can you recommend and a retailer that stocks them. Getting ready for the infractions arrival and just found out next to no wheels over here. Cheers for the advice again. Tim
Now at JJ Customs they stock the GRP tires, marvin recommended the S3 ones to me and I used them on my Typhon speed run car. The HWY1 guys have ran those on their infraction and it'll still actually get smoke from them and drift with them. Although not as much as the stock ones, they seem a good alternative and they'll be good at high speed. Hope that helps. You can get the GRP tires in different compounds, a harder one than s3 would probably drift better.
I think I might go for one of the huge fans JJ customs has in stock, it comes with a battery connector so you can run it off a 2s lipo, but yes I was holding fire on the twin until I'd seen how it ran
@@DriftomaniacsRC Yea those are really nice.. A dual fan heat sink fan is a must for these I'm sure as there is not much airflow..I think the larger can after market motors would need 3 to 4 fans though lol
Hi, i got arrma felony in stock. And i have a issue. For some reason i cant run it with 5s lipo. In 3s it works perfectly fine but when i connect 2s battery into series it ride for a short of time and then motor cut off and only steering is working. Do you know what causes the problem ? Thanks
I think that esc is not designed for 5s, so if i connect 2x 3s it should run just fine :) i think when i connect 2 and 3s esc thinks that is low voltage 6s, so it start voltage cut off. Do you think thats the problem ?
I don’t understand that ride height difference. Assuming that the tires are wearing evenly, the gap between the rim and the wheel arch should open up as the tire wears. The distance from the wheel nut to the arch is fixed by the suspension setup so as the tire wears, the gap between the tire and arch should grow. In this case it looks like the car on the left has a SMALLER gap between the tire and arch than the car on the right - I don’t understand that.
I just picked up a used arrma infraction does anyone else have the problem of it drifting good to the right but trying to go left it doesn’t drift at all? Shocks are all tight and the front and rear diff have 20k in it
Yeah i didnt realize would be eating tires. Seems like going to be too expensive for me for maintenance. I might have to stick with my Granite and maybe just get another basher truck instead. Outcast maybe
well it'll do around 80 out of the box, not only that you can provoke it to drift at 80! Also the tires literally smoke when they're sliding just like a real car would do. It's easy to convert to 8s, but it's brutally fast as stock, and that body has killer looks, the stock esc does overheat easily though with the AVC dialed in you become a drift god!
Really burning tires that hardly even smoke doing donuts looks like a whole lot of fun. I'd have more fun flying a kite than driving this piece of junk.
