In this video I test the top speed of my Arrma infraction v2 running the stock gearing. Amazon Affiliate Links - Arrma Infraction V2 6S RTR (Blue) - www.amazon.com... Arrma Infraction V2 6S RTR (Grey) - www.amazon.com...
Great video even if it's an old video, 62mph on 6s power is great for stock gearing the XO-1 is slower at 50 - 55mph stock not just because of the Link lock but also it has a 1,650kv motor on 14\46 gearing compared to a 2,050kv of the Infraction on 15\46 gearing i think i might be wrong on the Infraction side. I'm still thinking of the Infraction but the Felony goes on sale on Amazon for under $600 sometimes but i'm not sure if i want the proprietary rear tire limitation so i might just stick with the Infraction.
@@RCKnockout Yes. I've only driven the Infraction once in the parking lot at work so I'm new to these types of rc vehicles. They sure are fun though 👍😂
Hey bro great run! I just picked one up on a 20% off cyber Monday deal for 585$ shipped! I couldn't pass it up! Have you put the speed gear in yet? Any temp issues? I subbed brotha 👌👍
I think it comes down to personal preference….personally I prefer the look of the Infraction over the Felony…I don’t think you can go wrong with either though
its allready very fast and quick out of the box at 65mph, u dont need to go faster to be honest, tires last longer, esc last longer and same with motor on stock gearing, and runs much cooler!!
@@RCKnockout For speed runs yes I guess it's OK to go faster but for bashing no way that's how most of these guys ruin their trucks because they're bashing on high speed gearing that's not how it works
Just killed my xmaxx. Smashed it full trottle into a wall 😂😂. My 8 year old son and me had a lot of fun. Then I crashed it full on. Tomorrow I will get new parts and fix it. 😂😂
@@RCKnockout No. It’s an easy fix. Front c-arm and bulkhead. Only a €16 fix. After the small crash I went another 10 times over the ramp I made. No more damage. It was a unfortunate crash. But it didn’t spoil the fun. We put the xmaxx aside and then tried to kill the trx4. 🤣. In this e were not very successful. All parts for the xmaxx are already ordered. In 3 days we will be back at the frontline and try to kill it again. When I was 9 in the 80ties, my first rc was a tamiya falcon. Saved money for over 1 year to buy it. Then I could finally buy it. Now, after 36 years I got back in to rc. Christmas present for my 8 year old son. Three days later a went back to the rc-shop and bought me a tamiya too. 1 month later I bought the xmaxx. After that I got completely hooked to rc again. Bought a trx4, 2 axial 1/24 and so on. Last three months I had more fun than the 15 years before. If you want a bit of advice of an old man 👨 : Follow your intuition. Never give up because someone tells you that you can not achieve something. This was my biggest mistake in my life. And even if you can put a smile on only 10 people with your vids, then you have succeeded 👍👍
@@gregory9157 I appreciate the support! I’m sure the hobby has progressed significantly since the 80’s. And it just keeps getting better! What other people say doesn’t really bother me all that much. The only person who needs to believe in me is me. What anyone else thinks is irrelevant. It just shows they’ve put limitations on their own lives
