I have a v1 revo. Running 6S in it. I put a Spectrum 160 amp 8S capable ESC and a Castle motor. Haven't broke anything yet. Did replace the spur gear with a steel gear and steel traxxas axle shafts. Beast!!!
Nolan, them damn tires are crazy expensive… that’s why I don’t run mine all the time. One good day with the boys and there goes a set of tires… I did however find some that last 4-5X longer. Hobby park. They are only rubber, no foam, but they are solid and pretty thick. About the same cost but they last me 7-8 really good bashes before I need to change them.
Yeah the water color is very unique….I hope they continue to make parts or at least have a huge stock pile saved up for the Summit…cause they do break lol
Hello, I also bought 4000KV 4 pole motor for it. Is it better to run stock gearing or high speed gearing on 2s? I run mostly on tarmac or flat dusty surface. Will it overheat and will it wheelie with high speed gearing? Thanks!
Mamba or surpass hobby gool rc esc are what I use is hit or miss and Wl toys ammra infraction Losi or rarralo best for speed run I never use 2wd for speed runs think of it like a actual vehicle
Well first of all you do not give it forth when you’re doing a burnout and second of all, you do not do a burnout on concrete. You should get a carpet like old house carpet to do a burn out on make your tires last longer. I don’t know his drag stuff for a while now I know how it goes I’m out here.1.8’s
@@RCKnockout also if using larger wheels gear it down for the same reasons, using smaller wheels you can akways gear it up if you want! Also im buying a e revo 1/16 vxl.
The sunset Blazer is awesome I used a 4200 nimh for my blazer . But wasn’t running well cause b the batteries where going bad at the time. But I got get a battery for it. Pro the 4200 agian
Honestly I don’t know if I’m gonna take the gas powered ones back out there or not…they’re super loud and kinda inconvenient to lug that far cause they’re so big…don’t get me wrong it’s fun but they both also broke pretty quickly lol 😂

Man i had an over powered brushless 2wd slash that was absolutely wild, needed wheel weights for the front and did backflips on half throttle without a wheelie bar+weights. Blew through beadlock tires like crazy
