Got one of those back in May when it was $200 off. Gotta say for the type of bashing I do, there is no better truck. I jump more for distance than height, and enjoy high speed passes and turns on rough dirt and grass. Nothing handles ground bashing better than the Kraton 8S

Huge arrma fan, i have the kraton 6s and love it. The 8s is slowwww at 40mph due to having a gearbox instead of just a center diff to counteract the weight.

I love my Kraton 8s EXB with Castle XLX2/100KV combo and 32/39 gearing. It's so quick and nimble for its size. 😎💯💯💯

That thing is sweet and the outcast 8s is what I'm going for looks like I'm going to have to tell my girlfriend we're going to have to switch the kids from Huggies to parents choice 🤣🤣🤣

I'm running 39/39 in my outcast 8s EXB with the MMX8S and the 800kv motor and it does 58mph on cement with belted tires (need to test it off-road). You should be fine going with 41/39 gearing, your wheels speed is going to be pretty insane. I'd expect 55+ in the grass and between 60-65 on cement if you can keep it straight. Temperatures should be fine as long as you have a decent heatsink and fan. Hopefully the XLX2 continues to run well for you, it's got tons of potential with gearing.

Nice. I can't decide between this, the 8s RTR, or the 6s EXB RTR. I honestly don't need any of them as I have an E-Revo that I don't really have a good place to run but the sale is really hard to pass up with such deep discounts.

I am about to purchase this same car from Amazon. It’s for sale at a good price. I don’t have any real issues with getting one Thais way but I did see that they offered a three year warranty for damage,damaged parts or replacement. As you and I know from running rc cars… you cover DAMAGE and DAMGED PARTS? What’s your take on how that could work. ( a EXB RC car?)

Man I’ve been in that same spot so many times. It’s in the cart and I just haven’t been able to pull the trigger because I always count all the extra cost with it. I’ve seen it a few months back for $200 off the normal price (American) But I’ve always wanted to put a castle xlx2 with a 2028 in it and thats almost the cost of the roller itself again. But anyway love the video can’t wait to see you finish the electronics and bash it!!!

So now I can't find the Kraton 8S EXB Roller on AMain or Horizon's sites now... what the heck?? BTW... I've had a new Sledge for like three weeks now and it hasn't touched dirt yet. It's just sitting here looking VERY pretty. I'm very very close to running it though. My Fireteam is down with some broken parts and my Outcast 4S is too wheelie-happy to do what I have in mind right now....

I just bought one on black friday.. now i have a 750kv & max5 esc already which i plan to use. Would you say 36/39 gearing will be good.. i want the 1100kv also but not trying to spend more money atm
