Although huge in size, the ARRMA KRATON 8S is designed to be easy to work on with a modular design.
The electronics module containing the Spektrum FIRMA SMART 16A ESC, waterproof receiver box containing the SR6100AT AVC™ receiver, waterproof Spektrum S905 metal geared steering servo and super tough servo saver is simple to remove and access anything needed. This is such a smart design. Only a few screws removed, take out all the sensitive parts in one shot, now you can just blast the truck off with a hose. Awesome!

It´s a great RC car. I have played a couple of times with my daughter on deeper grass and it rides great!. On our last ride on gravel something went weird. It only steers under load to one side. I cleaned it up but did not find any stones blocking the servo. Read somewhere about the servo saver. Probably I´ll need to service the saver and hope that the servo is OK...

My wheels turn more to the left than the right, is my servo going bad or is something not lined up properly?

Something may not be lined up correctly. I had this problem twice on OUTCAST 8S and KRATON 8S

How would you know if the servo saver is bad or getting weak?

How does the steering arm attach to the servo saver? At the top of the servo saver.. as mine has come off and made the truck have no steering in its first bash.. was just driving around and doing small jumps. Very small jumps. I found a screw in the chassis which I am trying to put through the servo saver into the mechanism on the steering arm.. but its screwing on slightly and then just spinning.. every time I test the steering the whole joint is coming loose and the screw comes out. This was its first bash which I will be posting the video of tonight. It wasn't really rough treatment and the X-Maxx it was up against is perfectly fine. Please help as the truck is now a very heavy/expensive paper weight. Thanks in advance.

Can i run the stock servo on 8.4v? Is there any other bec option in between stock and 8.4? In the manual there's only two options in programming stock then all the way up to 8.4 if i use a programming box can i get 7.4 or is there really only two options for bec? Really low or really high?

So my Kraton 8s steering doesn't torn back to 0 and is really hard to keep straight now. Is this my issue?

Dont forget to use treadlock on the servo saver screw when it treads on the servo

When I turn the wheel on the transmitter, the module turns, but the wheels don't turn. Is that the plastic piece that you had taken out last?

Dear Arrma team, I just got a brand new Kraton 8S (it is definitely a V2 at least.. as I said, is brand new), and to be honest, I wasn’t pleased at all with the equipped servo. So I bought a “AGFRC Giant Scale Servo 1/5 2S A280BHLW brushless (100kg). But the mechanic at the store, told me that I need a “Servo Saver” in order to being able to install the servo. So here’s my request; could you please tell the specific, exact “servo saver” that I need to buy? Thank you all so much.. greetings from Chile!

Nothing to do with you video. But I have a question. I switch my spektrum controller on. I switch the car on. But then nothing happens. Can't go forward or backward and the steering does not work either. New batteries in the controller and fully charged batteries Please help. Thanks

Hi i bought a arrma kraton 8s. on my second run my transmitter stopped responding I have been trying to rebind the transmitter and Receiver with no success. The issue I’m having is once I turn on the power and press the button on the receiver to bind I’m getting the flashing light which is the right response. however once i press the power and bind button on the receiver to bind with the receiver the flashing light on the receiver turns off where it should stay on for the binding process. Can you please advise me on what actions I need to take from this point on ?

@@Ruben.vandb1 I still have no clue, but according to the manual the operating voltage range is from 6 volts to 8.4 volts. But when you search the servo up itself, it says 7.2 volts max.
