@@vwturbowolf I’m new to the hobby but I’m an old motorcycle drag racer, so I’m enjoying this new hobby, today I just got Typhon Grom, and I’m definitely make it fast 😎
How do you guys build your radio range extenders? I’ve asked everybody and they all ignore my question. Asked Raz, McCoy, InnovationRC, they all ignored me
The range extender are 2.4 ghz and I order them either from eBay or Amazon or even Walmart. Wherever it’s in stock at the time, just search rc range extender and look for the one with the sparrow bird engraved on the side. From there you need an antenna wire that will plug into the board inside your remote. Them the two wire power cord you wire to a 3s balance lead for power, I use a seperate battery to power my booster and can quickly disconnect it when it’s not in use
@@vwturbowolf omg thank you! Yes I can plug the antenna into the board I use a dx5 Pro and it has two antenna ports. I blew up the last radio I had trying to wire up a range extender and I guess I did something wrong. Not much good help on how to build these. Thanks again!
