I talked about the steering on Rc guys live. Why can't this be fixed by some sort of mod? Please Earl give us answers. Can you delete the servo saver and go direct steering. I think this would be top tier basher if it could. I have a great servo and new servo saver everyone suggests and it still sucks.😢
4s line for the win! Love the v2 might have to grab a 2.5 because it looks just as good but with awesome improvements. I was happy with the slipper clutch not sure why the need for center diff but I could live with it. Awesome session buddy 🤙
You can upgrade your 4sV2 to the best parts of the V2.5 by swapping the chassis, adding the side guards, rear mud guards and the diff outdrives protectors. Keep the V2 Slipper if it suits you better.
I really like it except I’m on my fourth chassis in a month. Watch those front hinge pins. Just did the M2C a block and 6s hardened hinge pin mod. Took it out and absolutely slammed it for a bit the other day and that seemed to have been the fix. Thing is so fun though. Upgrading steering next
I'm really surprised on how clean it is on the inside I'm just so used to my short corse trucks I don't know what it's like to bring home a clean rc. Maybe it's time I got myself one of those atho the new 6s v2 kraton really has my attention. What a great bash today fantastic Earl.....
Thanks for another cool & informative vid. The Hot Racing HD 25 spline Direct Drive and Kimbrough 25 spline servo saver are good options. Both will require trimming or creative clocking of the servo arm to make it work. Also just mounting a solid arm may work if you can find cheap replacement servos and dont mind the wrench time.

Nice clean jumps Earl. I am currently adjusting some shock oil to get some softer landings, or dampening I hope instead of bouncing. I had 60 wait in the granite, but I just moved onto Lucas heavy duty. Oil stabilizer is the thickest I have on hand and see what happens here.
Earl why dont you run outer wears on your rigs? Or dusty covers? It keeps 98% of any debris out of the chassis, i thought i saw you run them a long time ago with game changer fans but i cant recall cheers earl!!
Been watching your 4s Arrma videos all evening here in the UK. I just got myself the 4s Kraton and bought the Hot Racing servo saver for it. Will have to buy some 2 million diff oil next because I just bought the 4s Outcast too. Really want a 4s Mojave but they are really hard to get hold of here in the UK ATM.
The Lucas oil stabilizer seems to make softer landings on bigger air but hardly noticeable on small jumps . Actually there isn’t much difference 😂. I thought I’d give it a try in the stock shocks . I ll have to put on the big bores with 60wt to actually tell if it’s even worth doing . Seems like it hardly matters tbh . The stocks don’t have the little holes with a ring . There’s a difference though when I drop it and it absorbs the fall instead of loud chassis slap . I ll update if they blow out . I know this is Nothjng new and someone has definitely already tried this .
The turning is absolutely ridiculously bad. I cannot believe Arrma did not sort this out after releasing the Outcast V2. Earl, I’ve complained to Horizon about how bad the turning is. Is there anything you can say to them that can get them to fix this??
Which truck do you like more Earl, this new Arrma outcast 4s or a Traxxas Maxx v2. Ive never owned either but was just wondering your thoughts on it. Thanks and have a great week.
