I don’t get why the outcast doesn’t have the little circle protectors that the 4s Kraton has on the body over the shock towers.. Like this dude, I was shocked at how quiet and smooth the vehicle ran..
Great job man, you’re a great ambassador for the hobby. Letting kids try out your cars , encouraging new people to try the hobby , it’s awesome . I tell people you can buy the Walmart rc , but once it’s broken , chances are it’s not fixable . Hobby grade break too, but you can replace parts, make them stronger etc. they have more power , better handling
I just got a used Maxx as my "hand the controller to random people" car lol. My girlfriend has sent it off jumps out of control multiple times as well as my kid and it's survived. This reminds me of that. Meanwhile I'm constantly fixing my kraton 6s blx. Almost wish I would have gotten the 4s. Might hold up better to my abuse
Beauty, I’m jelly . I should’ve made a channel so I had a good excuse to keep buying rcs , I’m literally out of room in my house . I have new rcs I haven’t ran yet. I have to be super vigilant keeping rcs in the house and still be able to get down . Not hard to get ahead of yourself, I know you just sold off your collection, probably a smart move , but like this guy , I have couple mods and probably still couldn’t get 300 $ so have be willing to take half the price as new and be in newish shape

Kids today are a bit different with other peoples things than we were growing up… it would be hard for me to let a kid have my new R/C at the skate park especially 😳😳. But you’re a different kinda guy bro…
Yes i know it would be hard my feelings are im going to damage it anyways trying to show ppl what the rc can do and what better way then ppl with no experience as i have a lot of experience and that can show the rc in a good light rather then how strong it is with kids running it 👍💯

The steering servo is not great in my Outcast V2 which is strange because it’s the same servi in the Talion EXB which turns on a dime. Can’t figure out why the turning radius on my V2 is so bad when it’s awesome in the EXB Talion…..weird
Pretty sure it’s because the servo savor on them are trash, I did a hot racing one ( which isn’t to much better but only other option I think ) and a better servo much better
Aren't there age restrictions or whateva on RC's like nobody under age of 14 or some crap? Time or parents more like have seriously changed because nobody would allow their kids to play with or use their toys that cost $1000 when I was a kid, NOBODY.. Kids nowadays are utterly clueless as to how lucky and fortunate they are. Imagine if things like social media failed to exist!
Earl, that is amazing you let the kids run the rc's I have been pushing that we need to get kids in the hobby. Funny they always ask the price lol. I had a younger kid than these ask if I wanted to sell my new outcast 8s lol they have no idea its good we need to keep the hobby alive.

Definitely interested in getting one of the new 2.5 it's tough fast and all round just fun, I would have been a little edgy handing over the controller with it being brand new but as I've said before big Earl you the man I'm sure they where great full. I'm still waiting on my 4s Mojave coming in should be soon in the new year 🙄. I've always fancied the 4s outcast so this revised one looks like the one 😊. Thanks for the vid Earl. Earl you should run it with the old one if you still have it , this way you can feel the difference and let us know. This is how I ran my first nitro , I was about 11 and I’m 47 . It was like a 32 ford body all I remember
It will take some differential tuning on 6s to handle that power and you will run the risk of blowing out front and rear differential’s landing on power if the center differential fluid is to thin you can burn it up quickly on 6s very hard to take a 4s rig and set it up correctly on 6s with the weight your adding with the battery but it can be done ✅
Amazing. Every time I run at the park, I always let the kids run. Question of the day ??? Any ESC glitches as far as you can tell ???? I saw one at the closet RC shop to me , Hobbytown in Bowling Green KY , little over 30 miles but very well worth the trip. Best part about the hobby , the friends made a long the way. Very much appreciate you and all you do as well as RC Guy Garage. Y'all are killer
I rail the crap outta that 4s outcast and I freakin love it. So light and nimble and really fast for 4s power. It’s in my top 3 cars I own 100%. Not just great for beginners but a seasoned driver can have tons of fun with it too. Awesome truck. Love the new colors. Gonna have to try it with a center diff but I think it’s gonna be great
Me too but there’s so many great rcs , so I just say SWB Arrmas in my top 3 , but these 3 4s are in league of there own with traxxas maxxes for this kind of stuff . I would’ve put the old body on 😂

I was honestly very surprised the kid didnt full throttle it into the nearest tree/ pole/ drain culvert, as *every* fully grown adult I have ever handed a controller to has done that. I face the vehicle towards the street, they steer it straight into a concrete pipe under my driveway! haha

Great starter rc is definitely a Chinese version. Don’t really care about hurting it. I got one about a month ago and it got me back into it. I think I bought the one I have for like $180 and it’s pretty quick.
Problem is for a kid he can’t get parts easily adult can order offline but some parents won’t go to that extent to fix an rc car for a kid and the rc will just sit till they throw it away 🤷🏻♂️harsh reality
