I love how in that scene, it's not even Oliver or Kara that are the most shocked from their counterpart doppelganger but Barry because the reverse flash is still alive.
They weren't married yet. First time Oliver proposed was at the beginning of the crossover and she said no. They had a double wedding with Barry and Iris and the end of it.

Come on folks, I liked Earth X Kara and Oliver. They weren't crazy, Earth X Kara needed a new heart and Earth X Oliver being the loyal husband decided to get her one from the most likely source. That's not crazy. That's resourceful. I like Earth X Oliver vastly more then his whiney Earth One counterpart. Same with the Earth X Kara.
Writers: Okay so we're gonna bring Thawne back even though we've already killed him. How are we going to deliver and explain this twist? Other writers: How about we just say time travel is confusing and hope the audience is satisfied
@@mattholt2451 I'm not talking about him dying at all. I'm talking about his revival. I don't have too much of a problem with the narrative. My issues lie in the cheap dialogue in which they try to explain it.
The fact that was once Harry Wells face and he casually calls it a mask is just so chilling “id thought I’d put it on again, you know for old times sake”
When the shows had actual fight scenes, before they began just talking the enemies out of it. I almost shed a tear of joy rewatching this scene because this is the stuff I miss in the show. Earth-X is the greatest of all the crossovers: Change my mind.
Pasha Namir the hand movements are very clearly a Tom Cavanaugh thing though. Matt Letchster is the original Eobard Thawne and he’s never done those weird hand things
I wish people would stop crapping on Tom caveneugh portrayal of eobard thawne he is by far the more superior actor and plays thawne perfectly making him the best Gillian in the arrowverse

Absolutely. She doesn't look like a Barbie doll version of a person. Dark Supergirl seems to have more layers personality wise. Wish they hadn't killed her off.
It should have been Blitzkrieg and they shoulda made him Barry’s earth X doppelgänger. They likely didn’t cause Savitar was basically evil Barry and 8 episodes before this they wrapped up a season long arc with him. In terms of playing a villain, Melissa takes the cake here but Grant is a close second for his time playing Savitar in season 3. Ironically Stephen doesn’t do a good job in this case because his portrayal of Dark Arrow is basically the same thing as his earth 1 doppelgänger but a bit more dickish and a lot cheesier lines.
Anyone else kinda wish we had an evil Barry instead of Thawne? Tom Cavanagh is great in this, but his presence raises a lot of questions...plus I would have liked to have seen Grant play the bad guy again.

Not really. Thawne could've easioy at any point just time traveled with a treadmill or some other means. Technically, tgis thawne could've veen the one from legends that just time traveled and took Wells face.
The fact that Overgirl was a parallel Earth Supergirl who had a literal "bad" heart was poetic justice. She was a bad person morally who abused her super powers. She even wanted to murder Supergirl and steal her healthy heart to use as a transplant to replace her defective heart. As far as I am concerned their whole parallel existence is a waste of intelligent life. Theirs is a universe that could stand to be rebooted. I certainly hope such a rebooted universe would be an improvement over the one that produced these tyrants.

So, if Eobard was erased from time, that Thawn wouldn't be erased like all the others because, different earth, different Timeline. It'll make sence when you think about it.
I have another theory, what if eddie is actually alive. I know he shot himself and caused thawne to be erased but remember when his body was sucked into the portal. What if he was possibly revived on another earth?
If both the Heroes and the Earth-X guy's think Earth-X is dangerous, they wouldn't say or think that if they meet "The Dark Knights", now those guys are dangerous in a whole different level

Thawne’s alive not just because he’s a time remnant, but because he’s an anachronism caused by the Legends’ time travel this time. They pulled him back from the moment of his death in World War 1, and now because of their time travel methods, they laws of the Speed Force don’t apply to him anymore.

Sugoi Stalin no what I meant is the writers of the show probably didn’t want to repeat showing an evil version of Barry Allan, from earth 1 or Earth X. But the weird thing is where is earth x, in an CW cartoon show, Earth X is shown and Barry is on the evil side.
Except that they've explained it multiple times on the show. He's protected by the Negative Speed-Force and cannot die. Only disappear for a while. Just like in the comics when Thawne got his neck snapped, and then reappeared a few years later.

What was up with thawne here. He felt just shoehorned in this cross over to fight barry. He also seemed off character. Psychotic, and not serious like how he has been through the show

Thawne should've put on Barry's face, to add a twist. Though, it probably wouldn't do much to Barry, since he just faced a version of himself with a pizza face. That's also probably why the producers didn't introduce Flash's Earth-X dopplegänger. I also still cant decide if Thawne is portrayed best by Matt Lechster or Tom Cavanaugh. And when Thawne asks Barry, "do you like my face?" Barry should've said "NO." That would've been a huge burn.
I think it's time to Matt more they've been using Tom for so long and he is kind of overused now we only saw Matt in like 2 episodes although he did play RF on legends of tomorrow so that was cool
12-Mojo If that is true, then it seems that the only way to truly stop him permanently is to sever his connection to the Negative Speed Force. As interesting as Thawne is as a villain, he has to go. I despise how he hurts Barry by harming Barry's loved ones.

True whenever watching these shows majority of the episodes shot behind the lookout or the waterfront it just takes that different fictional cities feel out of it well not for the others but for the ones who live there

Yeah I really don't like this version of Reverse Flash. Tom was doing a way better job back in season 1, but here the writers are making him look stupid.
