Synopsis:
Still operating without Oliver and determined to stop Brick, Team Arrow is forced to weigh Malcolm's offer to help shut Brick down as Malcolm has a personal vendetta to settle with the antagonist. Roy and Laurel point out that the team could use some help to save the innocents of The Glades, but Felicity is adamantly against it. They look to Diggle to make the final decision. Meanwhile, the flashbacks chronicle Malcolm's descent from kind-hearted father and husband to cold-blooded killer after the murder of his wife.

I get where oliver is coming from with his decision. He faced Ra’s so he knows how deadly he is but ofcourse Oliver sucks at communication and doesn’t bother to share just how bad it was and how close to death he was. From felicitys perspective she doesn’t have first hand knowledge of Ras being a threat. She does know that Malcolm leveled half of the glades, he’s responsible to blackmailing Moira, kidnapping Walter & 400+ deaths including Tommy’s. He turned Thea into a killer which in turn caused Sara’s death. Malcolm created the mess they are in so she has no reason to believe he will actually keep his word and help them get out of it.

the best villains/ anti heroes are the ones that have many layers to who they are. Malcom is a fantastic example, and only gets better throughout the seasons on this show. The actor nails this role so fucking well

I really wish Brick wasn't just a side villain. A near comic accurate Brick would have been a great villain. If I could only change one thing on this show, I would make season 4s villain to Brick. It would be a more powerful opponent for Oliver but also an opponent he could beat realistically.

I'm sorry, but this Olicity thing constantly tore me away from Arrow. I had nothing against the pair really, but after a while, it took focus away from the things I loved about this show and Felicity became an annoyance. And that was equally hard because she was the only female character over the first two seasons that didn't annoy me.

This where i started losing respect for oliver. Working with malcom was not a good character development in my opinion. The man who wanted to destroy the same city you promised to safe. The man who caused the death of your best friend tommy and many other innocents deaths. He turned Thea into a killer. Not cool oliver.

@@hasan_1888 yeah I gotta agree with that too :) haha, It's always the stupid writers who ruin the show . In GOT they didn't follow their fans which led to ruining the last season, and here in Arrow, they overly followed the fan favourites which ruined the show. I'm not a blind fan Sir! I know GOT ended in the worst possible way, but that doesn't take away the rest of the 7 seasons. Even in Arrow, 1st 2 seasons were great. It's just my opinion. I respect urs too.

@@JS-zj6up hahaha i know dude. its all ok. I feel bad that you didnt like arrow after s3. I also did not felicity in s3 and s4. the acting was weak. the writing of olicity drama was bad. But s5 brought arrow back. rest of the seasons were not like s1 s2 level but there were still good and olicity were written much better unlike the flash where every story is about barry and iris power of love. 🤣🤮

@@JS-zj6up its cw. their audience prefers drama. If its done right, majority of people wont care. supernatural ran for 15 seasons. why ? coz it maintained 2+ million viewers with good drama. A 40 minutes episode cant have just crazy fights and stunts. its needs drama. If the drama is written well, majority of people wont have a problem. Only the minority haters will complain. yes the oliver-tommy-laurel love triangle was kinda useless and boring. oliver and laurel was never gonna happen after tommys death. Going with felicity was the better choice.
