Arrowhead Stadium is out in full force tonight 

I have been to three and it is very very loud and exciting

It was a great atmosphere tonight, even though we got our asses kicked

Also not a chiefs fan but I’m dying to go to Arrowhead. Seems like an atmosphere that is unmatched.

You wanna know the funny thing? The way the came up with the name "Chiefs" has pretty much nothing to do with Native American imagery at all. H. Roe Bartle, mayor of KC at the time, was a big part of why the Dallas Texans of the AFL relocated to KC in the early 60's. Bartle's nickname was "Chief", so someone suggested that the team be called the "Chiefs" because of that. Of course it did end up being associated with Native American imagery after that, but I'll be damned if the Chiefs are forced to change their name. People can whine about the logo and the tradition. Whatever. But do not mess with the name. And at the very least, if you are forced to change the name, don't change it to some generic shit like Guardians or Commanders. That's another thing.

@urdailyeditz I’m well aware that the Royals and The Chiefs are teams in Missouri. I think most of the people who live on the edge of the state, use Kansas, Kansas City,kcmo as interchangeable. But ya, they aren’t actually Kansas teams

I live in NE Kansas myself, huge chiefs fans and I completely agree. With what you said about the games completely. Most people where I live are Chiefs and Royals. A large chunk are Jayhawk fans but I live next to Lawrence so I mean 😂 also got a fair bit of K-State fans but chances are they support the Jayhawks. Rock chalk!

@urdailyeditz As a Chiefs fan you also know there is KCK which hits overshadowed by KCMO cause there’s a bit more there. I agree it sucks and if I had it my way I’d have all of Kansas City to be in Kansas just to make it easier on everyone 😂 Yes I’m a chiefs fan and it does suck when it gets confused for being in Kansas. But you gotta remember Arrowhead is (right) on the border. Most everyone I know is a Chiefs fan and I personally don’t know ANY broncos fans.
