Hello, friends! Today I'm sharing a review of the Arrtx 126 Colored Pencils set. I will be sharing the color swatches, a few ways I've used the pencils and some real time coloring. I will add more highlights and detail, and when I finish I will share my artwork on Instagram.

Feel better! I keep eying those pencils. Ty for the review. It's really nice to see in real time. Art takes a while IRL. "Follow all the rules", said no artist ever." Ok, I'm quoting me, ha. 😆

Thanks so much! Maybe wait a bit longer... I will do an update after using these longer. A dear art friend mentioned some people are seeing breakage with this new larger set?!? You are so welcome! You are so right, especially colored pencils but I love it. Haha, nice to know I'm not alone!! ;D

Welcome back Stephanie, it's great to see a video from you again. I did not realize these pencils were water soluble, almost to the point of reacting like watercolor pencils. I don't have either set of the Artxx pencils, but it's because I have too many budget pencil sets sitting on a shelf that I have never used yet. Your peach picture looks awesome, please show it once you finish it.

@@TheGypsyChic1 Unfortunately, I have numerous budget pencil sets and some that I've never even swatched out yet. I'm thinking about donating them to a hospital or school, providing that they are listed as being safe for children to use. Someone should get some pleasure from using them, because clearly I'm not going to use them.

That is so great you will be donating your unused sets! Yes, me too! That is my biggest regret for 2020-2021. I've only swatched out the sets that were sent to me. I will be donating mine eventually, too. I'm going to swatch them first and compare them to others. Some seem they are the same pencils in different packaging. But, I'm not going to reach for them most likely as I have nicer pencils that are my true love. I plan to try them first and only keep my top two budget sets. Then I will donate them...Haha, or another RU-vidr may make me feel like I need them, again! ;D

@@TheGypsyChic1 I agree about the nicer pencil sets. I have Polychromos, Luminance, Lightfast and Holbein's, along with various sized backup sets to those pencils. Someone else will be able to benefit from me (and you), not using the budget sets.

@@cheryl6716 You are my people!! I have backup sets of my favorites too, and I always look for 2020 prices again. ;D Yes, that is so kind of you!! I've donated products to special needs children and underprivileged children many times, and they truly appreciate them so much!

I have these, and they’re my favorite budget pencils EVER! I still like Polychromos and Luminance a little better, especially for work I want to be as lightfast as possible, but sketchbook work I don’t use any other pencils anymore. I will always buy these!

Thank you so much for sharing!! I feel the same. My top three are Luminance, Lightfast and Holbein etc. But, I love using these and it gives me more freedom to create without worrying about wasting my expensive supplies. You are smart to save your artist grade pencils for when it truly matters. ;D

There's been a lot of people on Facebook on arrtx page posting about breakage when sharpening but their brush pens are awsome

Really?? Oh no, thank you so much for letting me know! Maybe they did change something in the larger set, after all? I haven't had any issues yet, but I will make sure an do an update in a month or so.

@@TheGypsyChic1I've got all the sets, and love them all. The white barrel ones are permenant. Have a look at Stephanie's videoes on these hers are the best reviews on youtube
