I start supporting arsenal because of wenger. Hoping arteta will continue him but instead emery is appointed. After ramsey gone, i really disconnected with arsenal. Not too long arteta come and i become connected again. And the rest is history
@@suiro8455 thank God Arteta didn’t come any sooner, he’s been a complete unmitigated disaster apart from the 1st half of this season despite being given unprecedented backing & power in comparison to Emery & we’re still waiting for Arteta to beat his 18/19 PL point tally despite all that. & thank the Lord we let Ramsey go too, we nearly repeated Wenger’s Ozil contract mistake but fortunately Emery was sensible thus we were spared. An absolute disaster for Juventus he was.
Do me a favour, stop discrediting the size of Arsenal Football Club. You may support Wenger FC over Arsenal, the majority of us CERTAINLY don’t. Herbert Chapman, George Graham, & THEN Wenger all have their places. Arsenal is what made Arsenal, and don’t you forget it.
@@patchh15 The proof is in the pudding..the fans reaction at the Emirates after they realised Mr. Wenger is in attendance is very telling. Moreover,The football we play is the best to watch in terms of style and substance anywhere in the World . The way the players and the club behave is the best as well in a big club. That's all thanks Mr.Arsene Wenger in no small measures. If you go back to the time When Thomas Vermaelen was in defence you would see the uncanny similarity between the make-up and balance of the current team and that team. All the talk of we are another version of Man City turned out to be a load of baloney yesterday didn't?. Man City turned out to be hoofball FC a la Liverpool.
He’s a sell out to Qatar which is why he deflected on all the questions RE: Man City lol, absolutely tragic how he completely betrayed his supposed morales.
As an Arsenal fan, I can only thank Arsène for the football legacy, the philosophy, the class, the wisdom and he also sacrificed so much of himself to ensure Arsenal are where they are, a true love story that was always meant to be! Legend Forever
this is literally the gandalf of football talking. wisdom sprinkled down on our heads. every single question they peppered him with, whether i agreed or not with his answer, his insight and intelligence is incredible...
He is a golden Man and led a golden team to win the league unbeaten 38 + 11, the INVINCIBLES 2004, and to win a Golden Premier League trophy. Legend Arsene Wenger.
@@chrisg9615 thank you for your comment. Arsenal won the league in 2004 unbeaten and added more 11 games the following season still unbeaten. 38 + 11 = 49.
Exactly and that match was completely poorly officiated my the ref who fully showed he did all within his powers to deny Arsenal a win and favour ManU to win.
He truly suffered dealing with the stadium debts, having to compete without spending and selling his best players over and over again while keeping the ship sealing with no help whatsoever by the ownership! That's why the Kroenkes never deserve respect. He could've gone to any European financial giant in those years but he loved Arsenal too much to do that. Infinite respect for a true footballing icon!
@@dimd2424 He was doing the jobs of 4 different men in extremely hard circumstances. He definitely earned his wages. And don't be silly enough to act like he wouldn't have been paid had he left Arsenal to really sink and went somewhere where he was given the tools to compete!
@@alaooooy7 it was his decision not to have a bigger team to help him out. He left the team in total disarray, with contacts running out and nowhere near the top. I respect him of course, his impact on the game cannot be understated. But his involvement with FIFA, the way he left has had a negative impact on how I view his legacy.
@@dimd2424 None of what you said refutes the fact that he earned his wages and overachieved for the club in unnecessarily difficult situations when he could've left it to sink. His involvement with FIFA?! All the club's and nations are under the umbrella of FIFA and he's working within the football industry and making it better. Nothing wrong with that. FIFA is a company all about money and so are all the clubs so enough with the deluded virtue signaling. Finally, your view of him wouldn't change much. You being ungrateful and unable to see the bigger picture is your issue. He's not affected, neither is the history of Arsenal where he is the biggest man to have ever served this great club.
The architect of the change in English football. He always talks sense, he has humility, vision, and his objective views are there for all to learn from. And a gentleman to boot. It will be a long time before we see a football manager that can match him in the way that he influenced a club, on the pitch, and off it, and the wider game. A great man.
True for me. Grew up in the interior of Africa and I and my childhood friends believed the same until two or three years before he left.. great great man
@@garyoconnor1145 that was banter which all football fans do when presented with an opportunity arises . Only nerds would think that that is a degrading a great man
@@sunshinemoonshine4022 do you really need the list of offences wrote out? The reason I chose the coat is because it’s the most ridiculous thing to give out about a man in his 60s. Stop being lazy…you’re on the platform that can show you everything. Go do your homework. And this has gone on since the lads were commentating on sky sports (before they were fired for being sexist pigs). It’s always been the case with Wenger, now you’re starting to see it with Arteta. Always negative hatred towards Arsenal, it will never change
@@ebonyetfierebonyetfier6010 If you know anything about what you're trying to point to you'd be talking about Rinus Michels who was the manager that Cruyff and others learnt from. Total football and its many forms helped move football forwards when it comes to putting emphasis on passing and moving as a group. Wengerball is the best football that was ever played with true fluidity and beauty despite not having world class players in every position. I perfer his football specifically. Not that the concept of beautiful team play is something that truly must only be linked to one individual name. Many have tried even before Michels and many will try even after Wenger.
Such a legend, pure class everything he predicted has happened. So pleased he came back home its where he deserves to be and the fans sang to him. He deserved that and that its a celebrated his contribution to this club and football.
He works for FIFA and Bein is a Qatari based broadcaster. Arsene is wise in many things, but these two factors make it impossible for him to be impartial.
Arsene Wenger is truly one of a kind! Even in a video where there are two annoying schmucks talking nonsense around him I watched the entire video and enjoyed every moment! I love listening to him so much!
The game / sport - football or what is that it is now has a chance to change for good if it can emulate the levels of top class tournaments as it is in rugby. Have you ever seen top rugby players cheating ? I for one have never and they are probably paid less for more contacts in a ball sport. And i've never heard of ridiculous and audacious sums of money being spent on acquiring a certain individuals services. And the refereeing is top notch, how long have they been using video tech? Food for thought
People credit Arsène Wenger's going a season and more unbeaten as his biggest achievement in football. His two double-winning seasons were also remarkable as they showed total and complete domestic domination over Ferguson's Manchester United. His all-time FA Cup winning record (7 wins in 8 finals) is also unlikely to ever be broken, like Ferguson's Premier League winning record. I am touched to see a shot of him raising the FA Cup at the back of the studio, which is arguably his greatest trophy achievement. Hats down to this eternal football legend.
The only manager who can stand up there with Sir Alex, as a United fan I'm biased towards Ferguson but this man with what he did with pretty much strict financial policies was ridiculous. Arsenal should always remember him for what he did for the club he's a football managing icon.
What I will always remember AW is for his instilling of good sportsmanship in his players and getting rid of players who didn't put the team before themselves however good they were . A man true to the principles of good sportsmanship.
Arsene led Arsenal to its golden age of football. If it's even possible, he looks even better now than in his last year at the club, an absolute legend.
as an an arsenal fan l actually agree with Wenger when he said next season the conditions wont be this favourable,so its now or never again for us🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
That's bullshit next year our players will be older and more experienced. We will add more player to improve and increase squad depth. We will challenge for the next 5 years.
I don't agree, you think Arsenal will just seat there and let others control. Last season they said the same thing about being in top four that it was the best chance for us to in the Champions League and this year was going to be tougher and look where we are. what I must say is that it shall be more competitive but as winners that is if we win we shall attract better players in the squad and as well we shall have the young squad members more matured
So the reason he said that was Chelsea and Manchester United will definitely be stronger and more experienced. Mancity is always up there but next season will be be interesting regarding tottenham and Liverpool still being strong.
When I'm young I used to think that the club is named after him 😅 it's an arsenal from Arsene, the Boss. Infact beautiful game he played made us fall in love with the club, his fighting spirit and his sacrifice for the club by selling all stars over years until fans got realy desperate. Every one forget about the administration now is backing Arteta's project to raise team quality, which is different from Arsene last ten years, he always had to seek for new talents. Respect and love for him.
Too bad they cut him off when he started mentioning Lance Armstrong's example. I think they should standardise the retrospective action across sports. Why are they awarding gold medals to silver medalist Olympians if they are not going to award Premier League titles to runners-up? There is always a measure of farcicalness about elite sport, it seems, especially when we have former dealers of performance-enhancing drugs revealing that all the finalists in Olympic sprinting events are doping. It seems likely that probably several of the clubs have violated financial rules.
The interviewer tried so hard to put Arsene on the spot three times , asking what sanctions City should be given if found guilty ,but he diplomatically dodged it as a Prof 😄😄😄😄
PL go and get automated offside technology now. Am fuming now.. Wenger is a very clever man. I have never seen him make a wrong view. He is always correct.
Always loved this man and always will as in my lifetime he has been Arsenal’s best servant and I agree with what he says about the other big contenders being out of it at this stage and city aren’t as dominant this season due to playing at a different tempo and not retaining the ball as fast as in the past and playing a different system technically.
When people talk about the impact of foreign players and managers, on the English game and its transformation, THIS man should be at top of the tree in that conversation. 3 major impacts: 1) He single-handedly transformed the culture of English football, when he came in from Japan and introduced his sports science and nutrition approach. 2) He single-handedly built the first state-of-the-art modern stadium and training facilities, without the complete backing of a wealthy state / billionaire, and didnt run the club into the ground. How he kept Arsenal in Europe all those years on that budget, is not celebrated enough. Subsequently, all other clubs followed suit with modern stadiums and facilities (backed by billions). 3) The pioneer of that free-flowing "sexy" attacking football, with dimunitive, fast skilled players (some converted from other positions). Before Pep, took it to another level. ARSENE was always the first and forward thinking at everything, and the ENTIRE Premier League (and lower leagues) should gratefully thank HIM, for what they are today! 👏👏👏
If there were to be a one world government with one ruler to be incharge of everybody and everything on the planet I'd want it to be arsene wenger such a wonderful human being so much passion , charisma ,honour ,integrity, intelligenece, loyalty
I love listening to him speak. He's like that uncle I never had. Great guy. Made Arsenal what it is today he might as well have turned the mortar that built the stadium. I miss him still.
Before Wenger, players used to smoke at half time and head straight to the pub after games. Playing surfaces were muddy and practice was optional for the "star" players. He changed all that and today across the league, we are all enjoying the fruits of his labor.
Wenger refused to be sucked into Manchester City issue by dodging the question. Those guys wanted headline which Wenger refused to give them. Otherwise if he was Mouhrino, he would have told you of how many titles City unlawfully denied them and those titles should be given to him.
Villa fan here. This guy's team played some of the best football I've ever seen in the Premier league. Arteta go back and watch re-runs of how this mans Arsenal played. Premiership legend.
This man has such the respect for Arsene nw that's how one should expect to b looked at everyday which says how u input into social living of the everyday people with love
His time was up. Great as he was, we needed a new direction and the feeling of a fresh start. He will never be bested though. He will always be an Arsenal all-time greatest manager.
I'm a Liverpool fan ,the most sickening thing ,he never won the champions League ,The fact arsenal went through the final with ten men and still could of won , tells you how good his arsenal side was ,Even more now as we are hearing about possible bribes to refs ,which every other English team supporters who have watched there sides against Barcelona have suspected for years ,ask Chelsea fans
Great conversation. I didn't think I would listen to the end but when the host said, "Thank you Arsene for spending time with us", I did aware I was already at the end.
The only football professor … The only proffessor to change the face of English football … The only INVINCIBLE Manager … CLASS SIMPLY CLASS …. Would love to meet the gentleman … Eddie Aquilina … Malta
Andy and Rich!!! Love you guys! just subscribed because of you. Im an Arsenal fan sending some love from North London we miss you on Sky Sports Super Sunday😭😭😭 "Keeper had no chance, no chance" Oh Andy we miss these words from you!!!
@@ini9ja629 Yes!!! I just feel we will get the 3 points today. Our game with them when we lost 1 nil I got so much boost. I know we lost but they just beat us after we made 7 changes and they barely made any. I was very encouraged and quite frankly if i were a Man city fan watching that game I wouldve been left very worried. COYG!!!
To perfect the VAR officiating I think technologist need to be more creative..like fix gps gadgets into shoes and/or shirts of players, and to the ball itself. That way it would be easy to identify offsides, goals, throws, corners etc. Someone kindly tag the FIFA president. ******* Job well done Arsene Wenger for your service in the football world. Your legacy is all over. But I must also commend you and everyone else that speak foreign languages especially English in their native accent with pride.. the French,Germans, Italians, Chinese etc. Unlike those of us who tend to fake the English or American accents, shame on them! English could be one of most spoken languages in the world but with all due respect it's not the language of God . The importance of any language is to communicate, speak it anyhow you know, even in the deepest accent of your mother tongue. I stand guided through.
