I don't think Onana is a good enough ball carrier tbh, from what I've seen he's more of a ball winning midfielder but not much for a box to box carrier. He's very good at winning the ball back, yes, but we've got Rice for that. We've been saying that the problem with Rice is that he isn't good enough in either carrying/passing the ball forward, we need that progression. I don't see Onana solving that problem for us. Onana is more similar to pre-christmas Rice than he is to Partey (progressive passes) or Xhaka (progressive carries). Yes we've moved Rice forward especially at the end of last season but I don't think he's good enough in the role without Partey-esque player. He's a brilliant ball winner and interceptor but not really a brilliant ball progresser especially against better players.

I don't think Nico Williams will go to Arsenal, we've got Martinelli and Trossard as rotation on the left, and he's too good to be a rotation for Saka. We also have Jesus for that backup option. It could potentially make the current wingers unhappy, cause it would mean pushing Trossard down to a backup role and Martinelli to a rotational option. I'd rather us get a rotational option for Saka that would be happy not playing games week in week out like Bakayoko. But I'm not in charge, hopefully Mikel Arteta doesn't mess up the dressing room.

Let's be honest. Arsenal never replaced Patrick Vieira. Now, 20 years later, they have an opportunity. Everton gave to sell players by the end of June. I think Onana could go for as low as 30-40m. At that price Arsenal have no choice but to sign him. 😂❤

With gyokeres we could solve both problems with one signing he can also play on the wing as well as up top 😊
