Looks fantastic our strength with our back four now is incredible i wonder if callifori is turned into a midfielder his talent is too good for the bench
No Odegaard, No rice, No Mikel Merino, No Cala, Saliba on a yellow in the first 15 minutes yet Spurs lost and didn’t even score once and the fans will still try give chat 😂😂
1 goal conceded in 4 games. That one goal conceded came about due to a questionable red. This defense is awesome. Shoutout to timber who was excellent. Big Gabi and Saliba impeccable as always.
Spurs are, have been and always would be a bunch of pathetic spineless ballerinas masquerading as footballers. No wonder they will never ever win anything.
@@forskernNot a great stat to use blindly after just 4 matches. Arsenal have had one of the toughest starts to the season (for a big club), facing Villa, Brighton and Spurs who all create a lot of chances. Wolves can be a hell of a threat when they want to as well. xGA becomes representative from the 10th match onwards.
@@nicksnowbuildings Arsenal have had the best defense for the past 2 seasons, yeah. But given that every season brings new players, managers, and tactics, I dont think one can simply just look past that and not take that into consideration.
@@forskern a goalkeeper is part of a defense. Center backs who block shots are also part of a defense which all contributes to stopping goals. At the end of the day the best defense is the one that conceded the least goals not (xGC). I recommend looking about how Arsenal and Liverpool only conceded one goal this season. If you’d want to argue liverpools is better id say it’s a stretch but I get the argument. And I’d bet my left leg that we wouldn’t have conceded if rice wasn’t sent off.
People need to put respect on Gabriel. Forget the goal he was our best player with timber. For me our best defender last season, he doesn't get the flowers saliba does. Big Up Gabriel
@@nicholasbaldwin4897 We were brilliant mate. We did everything that we needed to do and in hindsight, because during the game you don't breath right, Arsenal controlled every aspect of the spurs game. There wasn't ever a moment of real worry.
@@faster6329 So now it's half injury? 🫢Half injury with Caliafori, Rice, Odegard, Tomiyasu, Merino all missing. Had 4 teenagers on the bench. Walked to spurs and dunked on them... 🫤🫤🫤🫤
Arsenal played better than I expected tbf. I thought they’d miss Odegaard and Rice a lot more, but they found a way to win without them which has to be a big positive for Arteta.
Raya was so impressive. A huge upgrade on Ramsdale 🐏 but my patience for Martinelli is wearing thin. If he doesn't bang in goals, this will be his last season
Today was huge. Really, really don't want to have to go to 115FC needing to win. We may lose there, who knows, but if we went there having to press forward, we would definitely lose.
@@shinkansenshinkansend8316bottlers fc have no choice if they play that bad at City, you're only overhyped by the media because of your red top for clicks 😂
@@MeazurAli Certain teams are better than other teams. If Forrest go to the Emirates and play for a draw is it only mentality that's the difference or is it the two teams? xD The Etihad is a very hard place to take point's away from, obviously we all want a win, obviously the players will try for a win. But a point there is a good point
three seasons in a row now arsenal have done them in their own back garden i don’t understand where they get their confidence from arsenal are in different bracket to those pillocks
i find it bewildering that goal was allowed, last season disasi scored the exact same goal, pushing a player with both hands it was allowed, bit strange
Pls watch that play again. The push happened just about when Saka kicked the ball... it's technically still considered the usual shoving when cornerkick is about to be taken
The only goal Arsenal conceded this season so far is when we are 1 man down. Clean sheet in the other 3. Our defence is solid, probably the best defence in the league.
Funny thing is if we lost they would have made a big thing about our player being missing but now we can’t brag about having none of them and still bagging the 3 shut up
As an Arsenal fan it’s refreshing to hear mark point out that we shouldn’t be reliant on that we had no rice and Odegaard… we should realise now we have a squad that’s capable of competing no matter who we have on the pitch… I said this even before last season started, we are the only team in the league outside of City that has 2 first 11s, so we shouldn’t be surprised by this result, yes we wasn’t near the level we can be but we have a set of players that all know what it takes to get the job done now and that’s what’s most impressive is that we can replace 2 of our best players and feel we still have more than enough to win the game.
Timber was a lucky man to be on the pitch.. He literally held Johnson with both hands when Johnson was going for a header at far post and Ref & VAR decide to ignore it. If it wasn't enough, Timber then got away with a leg breaking tackle on Porro. Arsenal were hanging by thread today. All said and done, they don't look like a Title challenging team this season, their best bet is 115 charges on City & new inexperienced manager at Liverpool..
also what happend to Maddison ??? isnt he suppose to be Spurs Odegard/ Spurs KDB/Spurs Bruno Fer or something??? but he doesnt impact the game at all , he act more like a defensive mid than a creative/attacking mid while kulu the one that making the run.
Probably because he isn’t supported enough defensively in the midfield by other players. He can’t play box to box, he doesn’t have that kind of engine.
If ur willing to turn it off, then u have players who will turn off. Those r very wise words. This is sports, not politics, u win or u lose, there's no compromise.
Not saying Postecoglu out but ultimately this was a very even top level PL match where the tiniest margins count. I can't help but thinking the difference here is one manager puts effort into set pieces and the other's attitude is "couldn't care less mate". That might have been fine in the Japanese or Scottish league, but he needs to learn that at this level a 1% difference means a huge amount.
They even try to fix the fixture list, giving city a day extra (why the hell are we playing CL on a Thursday?) it’s getting clearer and clearer every day
