You keep saying 'You are affected, this is your league, you as the fans ,you you you ' when you're arguing your own points and views. It's really bad. You don't speak for everyone. Argue your own point and stop putting us in that bracket.
They don’t need to get rid of it they just need to sort the rules out properly it shouldn’t take 5 minutes for a decision if it does then it’s not a clear and obvious decision in the first place
In it's current form with these current refs, VAR is just a tool used for fixing games and by fixing, I mean fixing it in one teams favor and it's normally City and Arsenal.
The fundamental issues with VAR are (1) the referees' 'club', protecting the reputations of their mates, (2) those at the monitors are cowards, afraid to intervene and, paradoxically (3) referees want to be the centre of attention, rather than invisible participants in the game. We need to bin the idea that referees are celebrities with their own personal brands to be managed.
What i don't get about VAR is the inconsistencies when it comes down the simple decisions/incidents. For example tight offside calls, why are some scrutinised by VAR and some given a pass? I understand the mess it has with complex subjective incidents. But atleast be consistent with the simple straightforward ones .
heres why removing var is bad idea because what will happen is the first the referee gets decision blatantly wrong next season everyone will demanding that var returns in the the immortal words of Paul Heyman that's not a prediction that's a spoiler.
No matter what, VAR is TERRIBLE for the enjoyment of the game - no matter how many mistakes they correct. Let's take this opportunity to get rid off this abomination to the sport!
If they upgrade it to this auto version like in Europe, maybe fans, etc wouldnt be so against it when things go titty up. I mean, if AI can teach kids course work, I'm sure they can improve VAR to mimic the same... Well, not course work but you get my gist
We should have the automated on in place and the ref should be able to go a view a screen to double check is decision in key things (red card and pens with crystal clear ruling set, followed and explained) ultimately given the ref the only say in the matter
Retired/Semi-Retired top tier refs in their 50s and 60s shouldn't automatically be the VAR refs. They should be thoroughly tested and only be minted as a VAR ref if they pass the selection tests. Also, the VAR team for every match must include at least 1 VAR technician who is very adept at using the system. This VAR technician must be given the same level of authority as the VAR refs. This will solve 99% of the problems with VAR in the UK
it is quite ridiculous to what VAR gone. the system has done far much good for football...most especially around off sides.....please we push to improve and not go back to the days of bad calls
Most of the major problems we've seen with VAR this season haven't been because of the technology it's because of how PGMOL have used it. The big decisions VAR got wrong the onfield officials got wrong as well. Let's stop measuring offsides, make it it's only offside if it's clear without having to get the rulers out. And absolutely scrap "clear and obvious" error if the officials got it wrong they got it wrong. We can accept officials will make mistakes so make them accept that to give them the chance to fix that mistake
I already said it in a previous video. To nullify pgl control, we need referees to be internationals. Like champions league. You cant have an england referee play for any england team. Problem solved. No control on who does what
Var could work if you have competent people running it. I think it should be removed until they can work on it and get it right. Also stop the take the knee crap as that is just Embarrassing as well.
You literally slated Anthony Gordon for complaining about what's the point of VAR on your united stand twitter account. And now you're saying its a penalty. I like your content and your opinions, but at times your inconsistent and hypocritical at times 😂🤦♂️🤦♂️
VAR seems to.have a principal goal of protecting referees. The goal should be complete consistency of decisions according to the rules Wrong goal total failure turn it off.
