It’s sport, and top level competition. The way the journalists have manipulated the rivalry and twisted the words from each camp is the real scandal. To question Arteta about his friendship with Pep was a disgrace. You knew what was coming after that. Our media get away with such gutter questioning and reporting, it’s scary!
No such thing as a neutral pundit. A lot have really shown their true colours this week. We taken such shit for being defensive but they seem to forget we were 2nd highest goalscorers last year. Not bad for a park the bus team. They haven't got a clue. PS City are losing it 😂😂😂😂
Micah Richards (can't stand too much of him, Linekar and Shearer on their podcast thing) said that the Rice red card was one of the worst he's ever seen, when everyone else was saying it was fine. But Ian Wright as a pundit? Love him!!
On the next inside Arsenal, can you guys give us a break down and update from the city trial? I’m from the US and the only outlet keeping me up to date is talksport. So it would be cool to hear your take and how you accumulate information as journalists and reporters. High wattage ⚡️⚡️⚡️ I realize it would be a while until you record that so like this message!!!!!
The City thing will come down to the lawyers. City are guilty, but when you hire the most expensive lawyers, you get let off. Happens in all countries. Frustrating af.
Good morning Charles, I'm sort of with you on the starting 11. Only change for me would be Martinelli on the bench, swapping in Sterling from the start on the left. Havertz up front and trossard and him interchangeable during game. 🎉
Year after year, season after season, and I’ve been following Arsenal since the 70s, there is a new reason for the press to denigrate Arsenal. It’s not paranoia, as they’d have us believe, it’s plain facts. I don’t know why, or what the agenda could possibly be, but it’s real.
Never before have the chattering classes been so occupied by a football team's tactics for half a game.Quite remarkable really considering it is just half a game. I think Cantona's kung fu kick got less coverage.
Hope you have a great day today.. I have such vivid memories of my mum taking me to Highbury for the first time.. 1968 (I was 7) You never forget your first match.. Coventry City.. 2- 1 win .. Hope it's the same result today .. forget about RU-vid .. this is a special day :)
9:29 Charles, it’s only clear to those that heard Arteta’s quotes. The professional thing that journalist should have done was relay Mikel’s exact quotes and have Pep infer HIS OWN meaning from them. For the journalist to intentionally misrepresent Arteta’s words and the intent behind them is irresponsible and borderline criminal
Ethan should start, he's our version of Lamine Yamal. Martenelli should also start with GJ9, and from there on Sterling and Trossard can come on in the second half with Trossard as the false nine. MA can then give some of the youth a run again depending on how the game looks at that time. Haven, Nichols and the winger (sorry I forgot his name.)
A big day when you take your boy/girl for first time and that's it hooked,it happened to me 20 years ago and still love it when we go and HE can get the beer s in for his old dad
For as experienced as Neto is, it’s not the worst thing in the world if he gets his debut under the belt. Hopefully he’s not going to play this season but if we need him later on you don’t want him to come in on the back of no football at all.
For me it depends who you play at left wing. If you play martinelli, play MLS. His vertical balls (throughballs when I played) are ideal for martinelli. The way he likes to receive the ball suits MLS's skills. Big Gabbi could do with a day off, Calafiori for him, Saliba, but off iro 65 for big GabbiWhoever is fit at rightback. In the midfield, Trossard, Rice and Nwaneri, Martinelli Havertz off at 65 for Jesus, Saka off at 65 for Stirling. GK, Neto I would be tempted to give a cameo to maldini, he looks like a prospect it might help him get a good loan in January. After a loan spell he might well be good enough for the 1st team.
Correct, king Arteta is a blend of Pep, Arsene, Diego Simeone, Moyes and the special one ,Jose Morinho.King Arteta mixes flair of Pep and Arsene Wenger with the pragmatism of Jose, Diego Simeone and Moyes, he switches between flair and pragmatism depending on the opposition and the situation.
It’s imperative that Ethan starts today. To not play him in a relatively easier home fixture, when there’s no Odergaard available, after Ethans mid week performance sends Ethan a terrible message that he has no real pathway to the first team. I think it could make or break Ethan Arsenal career depending on if he starts today or not. It’s THAT big!!
